I don't believe there are zombies in game. The trailer was more like a gag. And a play with words comparing a horde of zombies to a herd of goats.
Although there's a game published by the same developers way back in 2015 called GoatZ, with zombie goats.

I just got this game today at Walmart it was 29.83 i think planning on starting it tomorrow after work I beat the last of us part 1 and it was so good I’m currently playing through its DLC Left Behind and then I’m starting dead island I got a bunch of games on PS5 that I gotta play through the games I’ve fully completed though is The Last Of Us Part 1 Spider-Man Miles Morales and RE7 all of those games were amazing I recommend playing all of them but if you play the last of us be prepared for a pretty depressing story I cried at a certain scene and I barely do that with games last game I cried to was Red Dead 2 and I got that on launch day

Dead Island 2 will be available on PC both, hard copy and digitally. However its launch was delayed again. The new date is April 28th, 2023.

Goat simulator 3s reveal trailer that took the piss out of dead island 2 trailer did somehow cause me to think coffee stain studios somehow knew dead island 2 was going to be releasing after goat simulator 3 so my guess is coffee stain knew dead island 2 was going to come back but did a piss take of the re release to get everyone excited for the release of both games
