Very nice stitch. I’d recommend stitching ALL ENDS thru backside of wirk at least 3 times to ensure wirk dues nit unravel. Just working over the lose end died not secure it properly, in my opinion. Thus item will be used a lot to scrub and will be washed a great deal. Dint want it falling apart after a couple uses n washes!!!
Especially if giving as a gift!!
Add a dollar store towel, pot holder and a scrubbie, and that makes a nice gift set!

I like the looks of this stitch for dishcloths. Would be great used along with scrubby yarn 😊. Need to find some #3 cotton yarn 🧶. I like the softer feel . Thanks for this tutorial

I’m actually working on a hand towel as I watch this with Premier Home cotton. The hag stitch looks pretty in the Tangerine Splash color.

I've not made the hag stitch but like it. Is it a yarn beater? Maybe an I hook would make the sugar and cream. a little less bulky. I've prayed for you. I had such a burden for you I couldn't get you out of my mind. God is good though to be our comforter.

What is the durability of the cloth made with the three weight yarn compared to the four weight?

This is not coming easy for me. I don’t quite understand how to determine which 3rd loop to go into and then which stitch back loop to go into next. So I am just going to have to pull it all out and just make my cloth with another type of stitch as what I have done so far does not look correct . Can you suggest another tutorial for this stitch?
