Thanks for this guide. I’ve killed everything in the game except Svarog. Just crafted the legendary weapon and about to go into this fight. Still have the final dungeon to do as well.

I did this at level 40 with Excalibur and all the exp, gil boost, and ap boost items equipped. Used Phoenix, Bahamut, and Titan. I didn't try to get aerial with him and whenever I went into dodging mode, I charged megaflare and kept spamming that. Titan's abilities always seemed to pop at just the right time and seemed to be very effective in between abilities with a longer charge.

Very nice and can’t wait to unlock those skills. I beat him at level 38 and mainly had Will of Wykes that helped with damage taken

I just beat him on my 2nd play thru on Final Fantasy mode level 72 and Savrog is lv 93

If you struggle with the fight you 2 best friends for equipment are ring of timely strikes and ring of timely evasion

This and 2 A level hunts are all I have left. Before knowing any better I tried Svarog at like 35 or so and used last elixir and still got smoked. Literally the only time I've died so far. So I saved him and by the time I do the other 2 i will be at 50 and dangit.....I'm going to get him.

I'm at level 48 with Gotterdammarung and he's beating me like a little boy. Shame. I've got him and one other S ranked remaining but can't get past these two at all. And I really want the Orichalcum material from them to upgrade two items. Think I'm gonna wait it out a bit 'til I reach level 50. Might give it a shot a level 49. Have to wait and see. These S ranked hunts are so hard IMO. They giving me more problems than Odin and Ultima.
@@davidtsmith33 I suggest spending a few attempts just learning how to dodge the attacks and then you can try killing them. Trying to do damage and blindly dodging is a recipe for disaster!
@@Naztalgic_Memories I finally managed to beat the two of them shortly after. Changed mode to Story Mode and went for it. Good times.

what are the best accessories to use with this combo in your opinion? I usually use genji gloves + the one that boosts gigaflare's dmg + berserker but here the berserker ring doesn't do anything
That's a great question Dev!
From my small sample size I tested this combo with no accessories besides Genji Glove and got around 290k. When I used the Gigaflare and Lightning Rod with Genji Glove I did around 301k.
Now here's the kicker, when I used the +7 and 12 Strength one with Genjiy Glove I did 309k. So on the base game Strength is weighted more. I am not sure if this is true for New Game+ as I have not gotten far. I am busy making videos so if you're deeper in then perhaps you can test and see the difference for the community!
@@Naztalgic_Memories just started ng+ so I haven't been able to test much yet, but thanks that's good to know! maybe the atk accessory in ng+ can boost the dmg even further since all accessories have an upgraded version that can be crafted in NG+

I just can't seem to beat him man. Tried about 3-5 times already. And I'm at level 48 with gotterdammerang and some of the best Eikons already.
Level helps you do more damage and take less so I'd recommend getting to 50 and try again Timmy!
@@Naztalgic_Memories So true. Shortly after my previous comment I decided to give it one more shot. Wanted to beat him for the Orichalcum so bad I put it on Story Mode. This time I got lucky and beat him. Was so happy. Then I went after the last S rated hunt remaining, the very Behemoth King/ Masterless Marauder who beat me mercilessly last time. Beat him too and got the other Orichalcum I needed. So now all my hunts are done and everything that could be upgraded is now upgraded. Feels great.

The only gear I use are the rings of timely strikes, evasion and an AP up ring auto dodging is extremely useful and the strikes just help with combos, I actually beat Savrog in FF mode faster than my first play thru

But it doesn't really feel grindy imo. Because everything u get can be used to craft different sets for different weapons u might want to try.
Sunbreak in rise is super fun. Idk if they nerfed gs parry into lv 4 swing and u just spam that.
It's so sastifing to do that.

@@Naztalgic_Memories ?and what? i'm disappointed i wish it was more challenge the first time i play it not the second i loved this game but the lack of challenge is a huge flaw
@@slexho9709 That was the intention of the developer. He wanted players to enjoy the story first and Final Fantasy Mode for the challenge. Want an even harder challenge do Ultimania Mode.
I get where you're coming from slex as I also love a challenge but it's just weird to comment something like that on a video that has nothing to do with feedback. Usually those comments are for videos critiquing the game.
@@slexho9709it's a final fantasy game. They haven't really been known to be difficult. With a couple of exceptions of endgame optiomal superbosses.
That's the issue there really isn't a ff7 remake endgame. The endgame is just complete everything with ease then go to ng+. In ff7 u have those missions in the simulation to fight superbosses.
Hell kingdom hearts 1 has a better endgame bosses than this.
However I still love this game. Ff16=epic
Thats the goal and they achieved it.
