Hope you guys enjoyed this video! I wanted to try something new with this format to examine the characteristics of certain architectural styles and hopefully teach you how to build specific styles without just relying on one specific build design. Let me know if you enjoyed this one, I may just make some more! Thanks Grim, glad you enjoyed! Stygian is a pretty simple start but some of the future deep dives should be pretty educational, both for myself and the viewers!
Excellent video reconstructing the style with the time and the game. I play Conan in role mode and try to fit the character. This video helped me a lot.
Very nice. I actually rather like the simplistic design of the Stygian style. In fact, when I played Age of Conan, one of my favorite cities to visit was Khemi, a Stygian city. In Conan Exiles, I have only once used a Stygian design, mostly because it was the only time I decided to make a Stygian character.
I always love your videos, and I love the historical approach. Think you would do any build branching into the khitan culture? Would be interested to see what you do with their kinda limited building palet.
Another feature would be the lack of fencing around the rooftop. Sleep on the roof at your own risk. It was the Israelites, after they were delivered out of bondage in Egypt, that used a form of fencing to make sleepers safe as they highly valued human life as part of Levitical Law.

always interesting when you do a history / lore architecture dive :D
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm definitely looking forward to doing some more
a True Nordenheimer (viking style) build video would be nice
I can definitely look into it!

Other than mispronouncing stygian, this was great!
I probably did mispronounce it 😂 I couldn't work out for sure so I went with Stig-E-An as the safe option lmao
I have learned so much from you! Keep it up!
Thanks Norse, glad you've learned so much!

Glad you enjoyed it! Stygian is pretty underutilized as a style, it can be pretty nice when done well though
Excellent video, subscribed and liked 👍🏻

MY FAVOURITE
Thanks Blaine, glad you enjoyed!
Thank you. Looking forward to more.
Glad you enjoyed it! I've got a couple of styles in mind but I'm open to any suggestions really

I've got a list of most in-game cultures that I'm doing research on at the moment. Not sure when I'll get to the Khitan, but I definitely will
Great video!!
I wish Funcom would have a dlc of this on console.

Turanian style nex time please!
Turanian (Byzantine) is definitely one of the harder styles due to the game's limitations, but I'll see what I can do!
"STY-GE-AN" like "jeep" not like "get"
Roman style, please. Haha
Already done it! I covered it in my How To Build: Classical guide
@Eradicati0nn I didn't know that. I will check out. Thanks.
hey it's pronounced sti-tzian not gkian
pronounced stĭj′ē-ən. the G is soft, not hard. Gee, not gi.
