Everything that starts has a cause = True The Universe Started = True Therefore The Universe has a cause! I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ Which is, Jesus Died on the cross to pay for your crimes against God, and all you have to do to accept his payment is ask for forgiveness sincerely and trust in the death burial, and resurrection of Jesus!
I have to admit I did not expect to see the Kalam cosmological argument in a Minecraft video lol I'm an atheist but question for you: Do you think God will forgive me if I repent after death? If not, why not?
In the biblical view, it is not the idea that the choice between good and evil exists anymore, but instead that you will not ask for forgiveness because at that point, you will be set in your ways, in the same sense if you are a christian, after death you will be set in your ways and any non moral action will not come to your mind as a logical decision. And seeing as repentance/ admition of wrongdoing would be considered a good act, then it would go against your new nature to do that. Sorry for the long reply, I hope this clears things up for you 😊
@@furniturechair2658 Thanks for the reply, does the fact that we are made to be "set in our ways" mean our nature is somehow changed after death such that we can no longer act morally? If so, why wouldn't God let us keep our agency after death?
@plebiain after death, we are either brought into God's presence: Heaven. Or separated from God: Hell. When we are in hell, all of God's nature is also separate from us: Love, Kindness, Joy, peace, etc... so when we are in hell yes we No longer choose to do good but when we are in heaven we No longer have it in our nature to sin Even though we have free will we can't fly for example, sin will then become like flying to us, it would completely go against our nature to do. We are on this earth to decide either God or Satan, and who ever we choose will be the one we go with when God has had his final judgement on the matter. But! The good news is that God is not willing that any should perish, so he sent his son. Like it says in the pinned comment. It's a wonderful message and the most important part of my life by far. And the best part is that once you are saved, you can never be unsaved. That is God's love and grace in action I hope this helped 😁
@@furniturechair2658 Thanks, and I'm glad that your religion has brought you this meaning into your life. But I'm still left wondering a little. I can understand the fact that God sends us to Hell and while in Hell our nature is changed, but why wouldn't God, for example, give me a few more days after death to allow me to repent before then sending me to Hell or Heaven? What would be the harm in that, in "extending our trial" so to speak?
@@plebiainI have actually heard of cases where someone has died and then came back and gotten saved afterwards, I really do believe God makes exceptions for people he knows will get saved. But giving us time after death ignores the point of the free decision between God and self indulgence. I know how we want to both live in sin and get the happy after life. But God has made it this way so that we would have a true relationship with him. The harm in giving us extra days after we died is that God would then need to add his characteristics to Hell so that free choice of Good and Evil would be available. And it would no longer be Hell and complete separation from God. So this is the place where the decision is made. As humans we always want more time, but it is always better to make the decision as soon as you can, because you can never know how much time you have left. And that is coming from my own experience, I'm pretty young but I've even seen people my age die with no warning. Ok, this is a good video but it have not convinced me in existence of christian god. And the problem with that is that the universe where god exists should also have been created by someone and so on
Not necessarily, because the assumption of there being a physical existence is flawed from the start. It's a very easy mistake to make, and I've made way worse ones when it comes to the subject 😅 A better way to look at is: that whatever created the universe must also lack the components of that same universe to avoid a repeating paradox. So that means: No space, No Time and No matter. All are perfect descriptions of the biblical God. Leaving long comments isn't something I usually do, so I hope this all makes sense 😅. If you have any questions behind my logic, please tell me, and I'd love to have a conversation about it 😆
