I would live to see more videos on American manufacturing. Thanks! This one was great.
I love it when a guy works for a company and he loves what he does. THAT makes going to work fun.
I loved it when Bentley took off on the mower and the lady ran after him like the kid didn’t know what he was doing!
He had the throttle on half and normally you would up the throttle before putting it in gear.
We need more companies, factories, manufacturers like this. Thank you Derrick and the family for bringing us all along and showing us a piece of our manufacturing history. Love it!!
That is so cool that there are still companies that operate like Swisher does. That personal touch or hands on manufacturing!
Gotta love it! Little man has the same boots as Pop.
Love seeing American Manufacturers going strong 🇺🇸
It's Great to see something still made in the USA! God Bless America!
A guy sure does love seeing a bunch of Fellas and Fellets manufacturing machines in the USA. Thanks for sharing, Derek, Jessica, and the Triple B squad.
And it looked like he didn't have the cutting deck engaged, probably just showing that he could manuever and operate the machine.
All of your vidjas really touch my heart. My Dad’s gone awhile, Mom’s got the dementia, BUT !! Looking at you and the family brings back the feelings and times that we went on adventures such as this! Mom would pack lunches ( Buddig Meats , our favor - ite, for some reason), take out the O’l Thermos Jug, fill it with ice cold sweet tea, bring chips and such. Dad would always find a place to buy an ice cold wateemelon ( WITH SEEDS !!! ) , find a pickanick table some where, or pull over on the side of some nice road, eat lunch and spit seeds for deezert. Great Times! Great Stuff! Thank you Bieri Family !
What a partnership! Can’t beat that even with a Tanya Harding!
It’s great that you partner with different companies. So much education for your sons and wife.
I live near Swisher here in Missouri. I can tell you they are all about quality, and a great employer.
I get a kick out of listening as to how the "lady" employees talk just like the men who work there...Mid-West Macho, I call it.
If a guy can ever afford a homestead that would support machinery like that I would absolutely buy from Swisher. What a great vid to showcase their care & quality they put in to their product. Awesome stuff 👍
Had a great time on today's field trip. I really enjoyed watching the manufacturing sequence and process of the swisher product line. It looks like a well made USA 🇺🇸 product. Love that the family was involved and their interactions with the equipment. Yall keep up the great content
Yes, well made and built to last, they even have their own service center so you can save money for repairs. Crazy to see where my dad works on one of my favorite UA-cam channel.
Thanks Derek. Living proof that we CAN build things here in the USA!!
What a way to wake up today ,VGL Best content on You Tube. Just like VGG
Nice to some genuine hospitality! Folks that actually like what they are doing! Knoledgeable. Something made in America! Wow!
God bless those HARD working Americans!🇺🇸💪
God Bless the USA!!!! Very happy to see we still have a start to finish, American made product.
What a great video. You hit it out of the park this time. Nice to see the 3 mini vice grips and the boss lady on the scene. Thanks for a tour of this AMERICAN 🇺🇸 FACILITY.
I have worked at a factory before. Mind-numbing boredom praying for Friday. Rinse and repeat.
What was the most impressive piece of equipment did you see today?
VGG: A big white zip-tie !!
Good on you bro, You Rock!!!! I can't wait to see it all up and running in action. I have an older zero turn, its nice but not as nice as the Swisher, lovin those joy sticks and deck lift, great interview and walk through of the plant. You can't beat, made in Amurica!!!
ALL of it, I LOVED those panic rooms. But all that zip tie was AMAZING.....I don't think I've EVER seen a zip tie that long! :O
I have a 44 inch pull behind finish mower that I match up with my 50 inch rider. Mows great. Cuts my mowing time in half. Mow about 6 acres weekly. When i needed parts, i called Swisher. They directed me to where I could buy them locally. I appreciated that. Didnt need to wait for parts to be shipped.
Thank You Kindly Swisher Inc. , Derek, You Are More Than Deserving In My Opinion. You Bring So Much Entertainment and Knowledge To Your Viewers, We Are As Equally Lucky. Very Happy For You And The Family For Your Success, May There Be Many More Blessing To Come. Catch You On The Next One & Keep It Safe Out There!
These things are built like TANKS! So good to have a company building and servicing their product for life. Buy a Swisher, you will have a Swisher forever.
You know, a guy don't have much use for machinery like that on my 1/10th acre farm here in the suburbs of So. Cal but I can appreciate how a fella could really put these fine tools to work on a larger property. Old school, hometown values and built by great people with a passion for quality equipment makes a guy's USA pride really happy. Thanks for sharing Derek.
Great to see a thriving US manufacturing company and the processes they use 👍
Its so good to see the VGG family reeling in the ol benefits of being a celebrity.. So cool to see one another treat each other so well ..This is hospitality and genuine great people ...Creator bless you all ✌
Being I'm a Machine Mechanic, This is awesome, thank you Derek and Family.
Thats AWESOME that they let yall try them out.. even the little humans!!Wow
A man really loves his Kawasaki driven mower. Best I've owned. Glad to see companies , like Swisher , support UA-camrs. You will do them well!
And, all Kawaski powerplants Derek is using are made in Missouri !!!
The smile on the boy's face during his test ride was priceless. Once we move to a new place with some land I'll be looking into a Swisher mower.
What a great day, when you get the VIP tour and a mower and accessories.Great to see your family enjoying them selfs
Now that’s AMERICAN quality there. Thanks for taking us along. Peace
Yep with a big old American price tag to go along with it.
@@Bill-xc8le You're sacrificing a lot more, (more than you know), by bending over to let the Chinese give it to you up the tailpipe.
Quality, warranty, after the sale service with parts availability for many many years to follow.
When you buy American you are investing in yourself.
But hey, learn Mandarin Chinese if you want to...
@@randallsmerna384 I never said anything about China or not buying American.
Wow nice stuff. It does my heart good to see Americans making the best stuff right here in the USA. The way it should be.
I loved this show!!!
It's no wonder they've been in business since the forties, these mowers and cutters simply rule!!!
Loved the manufacturing side as well, it's amazing how they are built, and the quality is second to none!
All of America should be proud!
Looks like the fam had a great time to, can't wait to see a lot l of your new machines in action!
Right on Derek, thanks for making this!!
I really enjoy the family stuff that you and Jessica do. Family is important and God has surely Blessed you my friends. I pray that He Blesses you more and more everyday
this should be a show, "Manufacturing in the United States with Derek"
God bless The U.S Of A.
Warms my heart here in London England .
Thanks Derek & family & Swisher .
I grew up mowing lawns with my parents, it was something we did on the weekend for extra money. I've always had a interest in mowers and knew nothing about Swisher.. so I find this episode very intriguing!
13:25 "ooh, bearings.." Never change, Derek. Never change.
We need to support companies like this. Thanks for showing us, its sometimes hard to know what is made in the USA these days.
Thank you for showing an American local company getting it done the right way.
Bring your kid to work day is almost everyday for Derek :D that's cool!
Everything in this video makes me proud, amazing company and people.
Might need to let my dad know about this brand as he still rocks his old 1980 Dixon ZTR because it was a "local company" back in the day. Parts are getting hard to find for the old gal, so maybe another American made brand can win him over for an upgrade.
Check out hustler mowers as well. Made in Kansas. Lots of options
@@codystelzer5700 used hustler commercial mowers for years. They are great as long as you don't get one without enough hp. They are high maintenance though and parts are not cheap. Haven't ever used one of the mowers the size of the swisher in the video though, just the big twelve foot cut range wing.
Don't know the price of the lawn mowers hustler makes but the range wings are very expensive. Also not easy to work on without small arms and hands. Way too tight for guys with sasquache arms.
man Dixons were the shit, especially when Blount owned them. I'd recommend Exmark these days, they're still made in Beatrice, NE
I have 2 1996 ztr 3362 zero turn mowers the first one I got did not have a deck I ran into the guy at the scrapyard bought a Craftsman tractor off of them and then he goes I got a couple more at the house come on by so I fall news house and he had this thing sitting there the first one that I got and it had no deck because all it runs I go that's cool well I got a brand new battery in the back of the truck for another tractor let's put it in well it wouldn't crank you know and I didn't know anything about him I know tractors but I've never worked on one never even seen one up close and he says how much you give me for it I go out tell you what I'll give you 60 bucks for that one and the Craftsman lt2000 that thing was like a 2001 model didn't run wires were chewed up by an animal he was at the scrapyard when I saw him pulling in and I intercepted them so I've literally paid $30 for it motor was free I spun it by hand and he says I can't get a deck for it nobody's got one you can't find them anywherewell I said okay went on to let go that night and sure enough I found one for $150 complete runs works so I hit the guy up I went to the next day and got it and it ran just fine it started right up soon as I put gas in the head drained all the gas out for once somebody did what they were supposed to do and I go to drive it and it worked at first and then all the sudden it just started going haywire come to find out there was missing one of the rides for the break that pulls on the break when you pull the levers back and it was out of adjustment so I got that one running good I got it adjusted it works pretty good I still got to make a few more and they're both in great shape they're both running driving the other one wouldn't start because of the solenoid it was gone but if you jump the starter it would fire right up and it drove decent to it was out of adjustment but I needed those break clever things for the one with the duck so I decided to take the parts off I needed it still runs it'll kind of move around its just doesn't let you control it at all just thought I'd share the story since it was mentioned they're pretty cool tractors well-made I love the design of the drive it's all external and it's just these cup disc and they work great once you get them adjusted . God bless everyone keep up the good work Derek
Of all the Swisher named products the Outdoor Power Equipment is my favorite. Thanks for the tour Derek!
Very Well Deserved Brother Derek an Family… Y’all are Thee American Family… Salute
Highlight of an American hands on company by an American hands on family that can be you ,me or our neighbors…OUTSTANDING!!!
Loving the “might could”. Bless his heart...
Happy for you all! You needed this!
I used to do IT for a sheet metal fab shop in the Bay Area. It unfortunately closed. A guy in Toronto got a screaming deal on their brand new fiber laser. Good to see companies like this still manufacturing in the US.
So happy to see you partnering up with a patriotic American company that looks after its employees as well as its customer's. Truly awesome. When I get down to the states and need a mower/tractor. I'll be sure to give them a call, cause if its good enough for you., it's good enough for me!
This format needs to be done more often, showcase more of the great quality of people and equipment made right here in our great country. I'm already browsing their selection of mowers before the video was even done since I'm in the market thanks to your video.
Amen we need to highlight companies that are USA Proud and do for their workers as this company proudly shows.
A family expedition, how cool! I've said it before, you're a blessed and fortunate man.
Been by their location several times and always wanted to take a tour...In a manner of speaking I now have...ha...Excellent pairing, Swisher and VGL/VGG...
Derek, You are teaching the boys a great lesson by taking them to the plant where they make the equipment you use. They are also learning the importance of Made in the USA!
I take my kids on factory tours when we can find one on vacation. The Harley Davidson Plant in YORK, PA is great but they have to be 16 years old to tour.
That all in one stand behind looked like my cup o tea. Could have some fun with that unit.
Wow how thoughtful !!!! They have an air compressor in the employee parking lot so if when you leave work and you have a low tire or flat . What a great idea !!! Just little things like that prove they are a great company.
The best show I've seen in a while, love this kinda thing.
