She went through a Point of Entry, got inspected by a U.S. Immigration Officer and got admitted to the U.S. When she married Donald Trump which is a U.S. citizen, she was allowed to adjust her status as a wife of a U.S. citizen. Please do your research properly, stop spouting BS because it just made you sounds like an IDIOT!
Coming from experience. I've seen it happen growing up. American's are very lenient to illegal Filipino immigrants because we rarely cause any problems or concerns in the U.S. We are still considered to be a minority. I have a number of friends who were undocumented and earned their greencards legally.
yes, been here more than 5 decades ago. President Reagan gave Asylum to Illegal immigrants to become legal immigrants back in 1986.
we were called miracle worker coz we extend the life of their love ones.
It only takes $2500 to start the process of converting a student visa, visitors visa or B1/B2 visa to be legally holding a job in America.
The Filipino Ambassador knows what he is talking about! It’s not a scare tactic, all 50 US American States and US Territories, will know exactly the number of undocumented immigrants who have expired work visas!
If you are a legal immigrant or American-Filipino citizen, you don't need to run away or leave the country.
true migrated as PROFESSIONAL LEGALLY now US CITIZEN THANK YOU LORD!
Please correct your title.
Why is the reporter mixing FilAm's with illegals? Does she even know what she is talking about?
Priority nya un mga gang and un may bad record.
I am an Australian retired and living in the Philippines. Filipinos are welcome and a great part of Australia. They have always integrated well and become part of our society. I am sure it is the same in the US.
That's true you're not Philippine Citizenship, you're ilegal living in Manila
having difficulty of entering the US, most Pinoys are now trying to enter Australia, New Zealand to find a better life than living in the Phil. I'm sure Australia wants migrants who will accept lower wages to do the dirty jobs Australians hate to do.
Asian immigrants have no choice but to come to the U.S. legally. Once here, they are hard-working people who contribute to our communities.
No Green card, no staying in the US, the people have voted
They just deported 300 today! 🥳🙌🏻👏🏻
That's a full flight of a Boeing 777 or Airbus 350. No wonder the airfare is still sky high pre-pandemic.
Don't call them filipino-American because they are NOT dual citizen
Exactly, ako nga GC pinoy indi aq ngpapatawag ng american eh kc indi aq dual, proud pinoy still khit pde n aq mgcitizen living almost 9 yrs here..
Get these ILLEGALS OUT OF HERE
Born in america...of Filipino decscent..= Filipino american
"Filipino - Americans" means American Citizens w/ Filipino descent, whether they are born citizen or naturalized.
Agree!!
Tama! Me alam ako. Totó yun.
Do the legal way para walang problema, unfair din sa part nang mga legal na dumaan sa processo
The illegals will not take away the legals high paying jobs. But, Americans are willing to pay lower wages for illegals to work in America.
How can you be so stupid with this title ? If they are Filipino Americans then they are American citizens and they're not going anywhere and we love them and we are happy that they are here with us ! So-called journalism is getting more stupid by the day all over the world it's absolutely unbelievable ! 🇺🇲💖🇵🇭
You must be married to one.
@toast932 not yet, but one of these days oh God please in the name of Jesus 🇺🇲💖🇮🇱💖🇵🇭
Exactly!! When media does not practice real journalism but resort to click baits.
@miket.9450 yes, and even worse than clickbait it's obvious they hate America and they hate the Maga movement and they're trying to turn people against America with their evil propaganda ! Can you imagine that? I know not all Filipinos love us but 4 million Filipinos in America are happy to be here and our enemies are trying to turn the Filipino people against the America that loves them !
Been here since 1988 and American citizens since 1991 🇺🇸 ❤🇺🇸
I worked no food stamps or public aide paid income taxes 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Bless you! Enjoy the fruits of your labor. STAY in the US or back home to old country to retire till the end of life.
Hospital and Facility corporations here in the USA dont hire undocumented individual. It will affect their license if they do that. Mahigpit sila dito kailangan documented ka, ang tanging work lang naman nang mga undocumented dito is caregiving (in private home) at taga linis nang mga bahay.
Million pinoy madamay .. dollar remittance sa pinas mawawala ., export food sa USA , losses , mga care giver mawalan ng work , health care pilipino owner mag close .. it’s a domino effect
yes that’s what i’m saying this filipino commentators doesn’t know anything most of the illegal they’re saying are the ones sending all their salaries in the philippines buying properties and sending there children in college.
SO ANO NGAYON?? KARMA NA YAN KAYO KAYO LANG MGA DDS SUMUSUPORTA KAY TRUMP
I don’t know any illegal Filipinos........most of the ones here have ties to the military and have proudly served the United States ❤
😂😂😂😂
Most illegals, Pinoys or not work on low wage jobs in hospitality, agriculture, healthcare, janitorial,...
You can't deport Filipino/American only Filipinos who are staying illegally
200k-300k Pinoys overstaying expired visa, now working in various jobs in hospitality, healthcare, agricultural, private home care, etc...
Since the PHL is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. So everybody is allowed to enter, establish a family, business with the help of corrupt government officials/employees. money talks.
The healthcare workers are not illegal or they wouldn’t be able to work in the hospital. Caregivers are a different breed
Follow the LAW.
Shouldn't you be interviewing ICE instead?
Bingo!
Di pwedeng maghigpit sa Pinas, kung malaking pera ang dala ng isang foreign national with the intention to stay for good sa Pinas. As much as possible, the PHL needs foreign revenue due to low export produce, products, except the foreign remittance of OFW.
No One is above the law
Kung legal kayo.dyan...no problem..
😅
Once u in your in
There shouldn’t be because they’re almost always educated, hard working, law abiding, peace loving and family oriented.
If you commit a crime, yes you may get deported..
OR ARE HERE ILLEGALLY. GO N9W AND APPLY TO IMMIGRATION, PAY YOUR MONEY, GET AN ATTORNEY AND COMPLETE THE PROCESS OTHERWISE YOU LEAVE AND COMEBACK WHEN YOU ARE ABLE. I DID NOT SHELL OUT 8 GRAND FOR MT EX SO OTHER PPLS HUSBANDS WIVES BOYFRUENDS COULD SKIP THE LINE. OTHERWISE GIVW ME BK THE MONEY FOR OBEYING THE LAW
@GiovannaCatanzarite , why are you capitalizing?
illegal deport yes why not?
taxpayer din sila, for every item you buy, you pay a sales tax. Some illegals can get a legal SS # by applying as required by banks to make a deposit. believe me, maraming loopholes sa immigration rules...
We DOLLOW rhe laws and we do what is law!!!!!
Then you are here legally? Then you don't have anything to worry about ! 🇺🇲💖🇵🇭
COME BACK LEGALLY!!
Should the government need to help all those illegal immigrants? Malalakas loob nila kasi alam nila meron silang back up help. They should learn from their action.
Majority of Pinoys who enters the US using B1/B2 or visitor visa have the intention of staying permanently and adjust their visa status, marrying a green card holder or US citizen. Most Pinoys were able to dodge the rules and now becomes US citizens after decades of TNT. Many Pinoys still believes that they can still do it the way other Pinoys have done successfully in the past 2-3 decades.
Luh pag sure mo oi!! Illegal mo dnha panguli mo
We do the same in our country. We must abide the law of the country where we stay
He speaks on behalf President Trump???
Regardless of being in the U.S illegally if they've been here for more than 5 years they should be given an opportunity of pathway to legal stay like a green card. Many have famalies & are pretty well settleled & have been contributing to our economy. This goes for everybody regardless of where they come from with the exception of people who has a criminal past.
If you're illegal there is a possibility but if you are not there is no such thing.
UNFAIR SA MGA DUMAAN SA TAMANG PROSESO
How can you defend the Filipino immigration laws and systems if you condone illegal immigration from Filipinos to the US?
I think the Ambassador started this, this isn't even a problem
I hate to be pessimistic, but I’d like to see action, major action, before I believe it.
Law is law,I came to America legally pays lot of fees, wait lot of years to be approved and deducted big taxes in my paycheck so please Lang do it in right way
Volunteering to leave will cost you money and it will take 3-10 years to re start applying for visa. Deportation will give them a free ride home.
We all should be praying for each other and for these migrants!
The way he speaks, just like a lot of Hispanics, "It will not happen to us."
O.K. Good Luck with that. 🙄
No worries...
That immigration lawyer gets a lot of kick back from that profession…. shame… he has a title of lawyer but could not understand the word “ILLEGAL”!!! Pure BS!!!
What about Filipinos who are married to Americans to live in US and their children.
I look at it as ,, filipino americans unlikely to be deported . The title is just cofusing but i think this is what it meant. Coz a filipino American means he's /she's a us citizen therefore stays.
Send back all those nurses to the Philippines. The country needs them. In the US, all those elders are very healthy, just like President Trump.
Why are people thinking illegal means every one else illegal and not me. When they start taking people, they are only going to look at your citizenship status.
Kahit sabihin na 1% lng pinoy... at illegal lng affected... it has bigger effect for filipinos living here (discrmination and asian hate)... they have the full control of the congress anything can happen on policies etc.
Isipin niyo wala may gusto na tago ng tago (tnt), but they rather take the risk than going home... dahil wala din mapapala kapag umuwi. Kahit mga tnt yan they send money to PH so wag tayo mapanghusga. Sa laki ng foreign debt, remittances stays us afloat. Dapat as Filipinos we demand our government that Filipinos will no longer forced to go abroad and take those risks.
PHL can/should provide living wages at home based on ASEAN wages. Light manufacturing, tourism, pharmaceutical companies, food processing facilities, farm /agricultural products must be encourage by the gov.
Illegal is Illegal under Trump’s immigration policy. Period. That’s means zero tolerance or no exemptions. All illegal immigrants are deportable. I strongly agrees on his terms.
Rules must obey!
300k pinoys uwi na kasi madami pinoy dito ! Illegal naman kayo dyan
Mahirap bang intindihin ..iyan pag illegal kayo na andto at walang papel,di umuwi na kayo, mahirap man kaso follow the law, huwag Ng makipag matigasan. Salamat Po.
maraming mga Pinoys na illegal Nuon, ngayon ay successful na, US citizen na, kaya marami pa rin sa mga Pinoy who wants to follow the other Pinoy illegals...
legal and illegal migration is different.
regardless of origin
If you want to immigrate to any country, pls do it legally. There are many opportunities anyway to get to live and work abroad legally, especially if you do it under POEA. And the US should not be the only choice, especially now that it has very strict immigration policies. Besides, how could an illegal immigrant actually enjoy staying abroad if he's always worried about getting caught and deported? Hirap maging TNT, you cannot get any benefits or be protected by the foreign government. Employers will exploit you because they know you will not complain or sue them. And the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
Most illegals Pinoys or not, regrets in the beginning, but eventually adapts to his cost of living having receiving living wages in the US. Luck might struck to get married to a Green Card holder or a lonely senior US citizen in the end.
Philippine media ano ba kau ?? Pag illegal uwi na wala na dapat issue ,follow the rules
I like Filipino people and I'm mexican American but that was exactly the message lot's of people did not get? Deportation means deportation in general? I can say I did not vote for trump the guy is crazy
I am glad to hear that. He is a lunatic, Nazi. Texas already doing a mass deportation, that state is very red.
