I have the ad20 and ad20s and I prefer my ad20 over the s. But I have the full flat grind 3v blade on mine so it cuts amazingly for .18" thick spine! 5 max, if it had better blade to handle ratio maybe

I can’t say how practical that knife would be. But there’s nothing wrong with an impractical knife. For my giant, impractical knife, I bought a Maxace Vortex S. It’s a liner lock instead of a triad lock. And the steel is their SLD Magic, not S35VN. But it also cost $200 less. And it will suit my purposes just fine.

I have a 2020 American Lawman s35vn, my coworker liked it and bought a 2024. His knife sucks, it needs to be sharpened every 3 days, where mine gets sharpened every 7 days. Mine has twice the performance as his. The average consumers just buy with they're eyes. Only the uninformed buy this stuff now.
