I've thought about people doing lyrics first and then the video, but damn, there is nothing like hearing the most impactful parts of the song WITH the music video, because you just know that the video matches the energy of the song and will blow your mind. I think if you're lucky enough for this to be your first time hearing a song (I'm so jealous), it's a gift to experience it with the music video. Also, if you're listening to the song for the first time, you're not going to want to be dissecting lyrics.
