He felt bad which was his first mistake.
It's impressive how killer7 manages to still be updated in terms of humor.
It's so funny that he does all those crazy parkour stunts in the cutscene and the moment it ends you see him in a fucking wheelchair

Well no, unless Handsome Dead is actually dead. Though Handsome White Pearl had to go up against Con, who was actually blind. Eyesight may or may not be a factor in success, maybe, possibly, idk.
But Handsome Red rolling up in a wheelchair is the funniest thing ever
Seeing Handsome Red put himself in a wheelchair to even the playing field with Harman only to instantly die still cracks me up.

When I get someone to play this game for the first time I like to wish them good luck and tell them to try their best on this fight without letting them know it's scripted.
Only problem is you can only play this game for the first time once. I wish the game was finished with everything cut out in previous demos like human like Heaven Smiles that transformed last second into them.

The anime segments in Killer7 are animated by XEBEC, which was composed of former employees from the legendary Tatsunoko studios. They definitely put some of their superhero expertise in the animation here. At 2:13, Handsome Red's visor looks almost exactly like someone from the Gatchaman team.
Because of course Suda51’s magnum opus would include a gunslinger duel against a super Sentai parody

Is it scripted or what? Is it impossible to not die to them even once?
I've never actually tried but there's instances where it is scripted. Dan will always kill on the first shot and Kaede will always die on reload for example.

@@upkz762 Dan was an instant kill because you shot Blue's head. In order to get Coyote's instant kill you have to shoot one of his legs.

Can we talk about how cool this scene is 1:05? The way Handsome Red leaps into the air, perfectly lands on a railing, does a somersault, and uses his foot to spin around the pole is so full of the exaggerated swagger or a Power Rangers knockoff parody.

The Handsome Men and Killer 7 together represent the conception of Yin and Yang
This is represented in the random cutscene with the boy (mithra) his entire monologue is about light and darkness encompassing each other.
Similarly the Killer 7 and Handsome Men are complete subversions of good and evil. The psychotic apathetic Assassin's are the one's fighting for good against morally objective and self assured Superheros
When they face each other at the end its completely meaningless because good and evil are one and the same. Good can have evil motivations and evil can have good motivations. Therefore no side can win.
