- I linked up with Grant Howard, and Andrew Pollard on a super fun day at Alta in December (2023) . It hadn't snowed in a week conditions were still low tide, but patrol had just opened some fresh terrain the day before. We found a bunch of super fun hits, jumps and features and made the best of the day. Thanks to Atomic for having me out and to Alta for the good times.

Been in Jh for three days shooting !
It was December 11th, 2011 when I got to chase Sage (got a selfie in GMD w/ you that I had to refer to to get the date right), Dana, and Todd around Alta during an Atomic demo day with my then sales rep Ryan. It was also that day I decided I would someday not live in Wyoming and get to SLC. Now I live a life full of laps at Alta and I'm grateful for that, so, thanks man! Love these vids too! It's really fun to see it then go look in person. I still brag about that demo day and how easy you guys made it look over a decade later.
Hahah yes! We still talk about that day too! It was pretty legendary ! Glad to hear it made a big impact.

any tips for doing a shifty? I always get nervous about crossing tips.
The shifty is my favorite trick! Pop off the air, rotate hips and the skis will follow, rotate back, and stomp!

How come was the ski area that empty of people?
Alta is pretty much always that empty on a weekday, even on pow days
