I clear way too many berry bushes to not run Ventrac's tire juice as I call it. It handles a strong majority of my punctures. Sometimes the hole is too large and I repair with the rope tire repair kit in place. I would be doing this video every week otherwise. My 4500 Ventrac came shipped with lug nuts on the wheel AND the dual wheel receiver. I believe that is recommended. Has that changed for the 4520?
I have not, Ive seen it before. These tires, although load bearing, can have tons of plugs without issue since the rotational speed is so low compared to a vehicle on the highway.
You are working way too hard! Use the front hydraulics to lift the front tires off of the ground if you have to remove wheels. I do not remove wheels to air-up or fix perforations. I find the perf, mark it, use a sticky rope with solvent cement, inflate and done. My original dealer service guy used a 4' pipe wrench to tighten the dual coupler. To remove it I raised the tires off the ground, I stood then the tires toward the counter clockwise side and jumped up and down with my body weight (about 200#) and after a few jumps they loosened, I DO USE GREAE and you may wish you had in future.. Glad we do not have that kind of thorn here.
You are going to tear your rotator cuff trying to twist the wheels off. Put a rachet strap around the middle of the tire and stick a 2x4 in between it and the tire and use the 2x4 as a lever to push on.

Thanks for the video-nice work
Glad you liked it!
Would you recommend a Ventrac?
Was that a porcupine quill?
Have you tried using the Ventrac fix-a-flat goop that they sale to prevent the punctures?

If you take the front outside duals off it woudl almost look like a trike 😀

Sorry... I made this comment right before i saw you using the rachet strap. Oops.. lol
@@johnevans6053 No worries I was about to say, I needed to use a ratchet anyways. Thanks for all the comments lately.
