Imagine the loss when a hurricane or fire comes to his neighbourhood... The Lego is definitely 3x more worth than the house itself :O...and that isn't taking a hit at the house
@@MClashers All the money in the world can't replace pieces that can no longer be purchased. Replacing a pristine minifigure with a used one just isn't the same. Or the UCS models..
Wow David. I follow you since 2011. so I have watched every single of the now 4 Moving Processes. Always loved the moving content. Hope you find a great new LEGO room.
I found your channel by chance when I was researching the Lego Colosseum and that night you were doing a livestream of the colosseum and I was hooked from there. Good luck David and enjoy yourself.
It is crazy to see how far you've gotten over the years Dave, I've been a sub of you since the very first clone army video back in 09' I think, happy for you man. Keep it up.
Thank you for sharing your passion with us David! It really is awesome what you have built and we're lucky to be along for the ride! All the best for the next steps 🙏
Wow, to have that much space! I’m jealous. BTW, for anyone who doesn’t have copious space: those Uline bins are awesome, and, yes, the smaller ones are hanging from a sturdy steel frame (you can get a similar steel back wall for the big bins, too), but they’re really space inefficient. The low front means you can only half-fill them, so you’re giving up half your space (plus the gaps between them, because they have fairly wide sides) in return for easy access.
It's stuff like this that makes you the best Lego Star wars UA-camr there is. Not only do you have a million and one sets but you care about each one of them, the way you display them, the way you set things up. I can see now why you were in that magazine article 😉
I went and got myself some Ivar shelves from IKEA a couple months ago after wanting them since you first got them! I agree about the wood balancing out the plastic, all in all great display shelves!
little late to comment, but have been watching way before you where solid Brix Studios. Love the content remember back in the day old lego clone army tour videos. Thanks for being such a positive and great influence on my life, made me love lego even more. Will continue to collect legos till the day I die. Appreciate you and best of luck.
Yikes. That's a little ridiculous. Have you ever considered that you may have too many Legos? At least too many to keep in a typical house, perhaps? It may be a moot point now, but I'm curious if you had considered building a dedicated studio space and/or a completely separate structure for a place to keep everything.
That's an awesome collection I've been watching you build since I was a kid. Your an inspiration to collectors like me to keep growing. Thank you truly and keep up the good work.
Really awesome video! It's really cool to see not only your collection but also your setup. I love the motorized system for timelapses, I noticed it in your latest timelapse, I wandered how it was done and it definitely adds a lot. Can't wait for the next one! Take care
Amazing collection. Surprised how you store your Star Wars mini figs in a bin! Also interesting how all your Star Wars minifigs only need one storage bin but the Lego sets and pieces take up 99% of your room!
Love the film part of your channel! Super high quality! Is the top down an Aperture 120 D (or some sort of Aperture light)? Epic collection David! Insane amount of sets and builds!
As I see that you have the Saturn V and the space shuttle I also would recommend the Ideas ISS to you. it not so expensive but is much fun to built and look astonishingly accurate.
Kinda hard saying good buy to this place… I vividly remember when you moved to this house. When you were packing the LEGO in the previous house 😂 and I might have written similar comment back then. But I can’t wait for what future holds for you and all of us. You’re amazing human being, one of those few UA-camrs that I treasure for more than a decade. So keep up the great work and we THANK You! 😄😄
Absolutely incredible!!! I HATE moving. My brain hurts from thinking about packing all that up.... my god. It felt like we had boxes and boxes when we moved into this house, and I have a tiny little fraction of what you have there. Lol. The biggest one was the falcon, where I just broke it down into sections with bubble wrap in between. You might wanna order a warehouse of bubble wrap! LOL! And having to destroy your daro setup on top.....😪 best of luck! Looking very much forward to seeing it all come back together in your new space.
I'm gonna be honest this like a dream come true, I've never had any star wars lego set but I hope that one day I can have a lego room like this as my hobby which I could share with my children.......but I'm 19 so still I have to wait some time ^^ Honestly I'm kinda afraid of the cost XD
Hey David been watching for years! Keep up the great work I really enjoy your reviews and wanted to know for someone who wants to buy their first real clone wars set, which should I get?
If we're talking sets available the 501st battlepack is an absolute must. If it's including retierd sets start with either a Republic gunship or an AT-TE.
Question: how have u been watching for years and yet been able to hold off from buying any clone wars sets??? U have resolve like no other... Temptation has led me to the dark side and I buy every set that comes with figs now🤣
@@hoarder66 😂😂 I've allways been more of an original trilogy fan and I've only recently started watching the clone wars. I've got the 501st pack and smaller ones like anakins Starfighter but I was asking about the larger ones like gunships 😂😂
Great video! I have two questions for you. How do you keep the sets dust free on the shelves? Also, do you keep the boxes and directions after building a set? If so, how do you store the empty boxes and directions? Thanks! Rick
Awesome room tour! So happy to see another video 😁❤️, you could do some streams when you break up Daro so it could be more fun👍😄! Your collection is absolutely epic!🔥😁
got this video recommended, had to watch it because i was curious which of the Jonas Brothers has a Lego Channel :D jokes aside, gonna watch more from you, seem like a nice guy who's absolutely nuts about Lego. Keep going :)
really good vacuum to start, then an air compressor to blow the rest off...then vacuum the blown off dust off the carpet. Thats the easiest way in any knickknack/model/gun/whatever collection
Why not get minifigure display stands (that cover/protect them) so you can enjoy them I should do something like that with all minifigures but I love looking at them and pairing them with sets etc but just a thought
Very nice!! Hope that you will make a timelapse of moving :)) Thanks for the great content, you´re one of few people that made me start my own channel (not as good as yours ofc )))
Damn youre moving again? (edit, i didnt realize it has been almost 3 years...WOW seems like 1 year!) hopefully this one has a huge shop! That would give ton of room for activities, builds, and storage
It's kind of nuts seeing just the sheer number of sets and builds you've covered over the years. Been a long time fan, great content
