Thank you! This solved my issue after updating to the latest Samsung firmware causing the phone to lag badly. Now it's buttery smooth again after wiping out the cache. I couldn't find my USB-C earphones so I tried it with a USB-C Multiport Adapter, and it works!
For those who use Android 11: Press the same keys, but do so while your phone is attached to your computer via cable. Since Android 11 Google decided that pressing the keys alone isn't enough.
@@dt8179 All I did was connecting my Note 10+ to my running computer. No specific app needed to run on the computer for this. Maybe this even works while the computer is turned off, but I haven't tested that. 1. Attach your phone to a running computer via usb cable. 2. Press and hold volume up + power button 3. Release the buttons as soon as Samsung Logo pops up.
Note 10+5G owner here, might have to plug your phone into a computer while doing the volume up and power button thing. it worked for me just keep holding volume up and power button while phone is plugged in computer showing charging sign, till recovery menu shows
Thanks you saved my sanity. New phone and lots of things never explained to me when I would ask for help. Great ! A well presented video. Keep them coming. Thank you & stay safe

Is this includes other files? Because i have storage problems recently because my other storage is 13.5GB (i have 32/3 device right now) so i cant do anything untill i switch into newer one, i hope this helps to me because i cant do anything on this device, i could just switch to newer one or do this.
My keyboard are start seems not responsive as 1st day, the haptic feedback on the keyboard also slowed down, can this help? Will it delete my wallpaper, gallery, apps and etc?

1. Turn off your device 2. Connect your device to the PC via USB (not to the charger) 3. Wait until the message that the device is being charged appears 4. Press and hold down the volume up and then power buttons and hold them untlil the device turns on 5. Very easy, thanks!!! Looked online because messenger on FB is showing an unread message and nothing is unread and it said doing this would fix that....still showing unread message😔
Yeah, that happens. It's the FB app, not the cache, those unread messages aren't stored anywhere on your phone. Uninstall and reinstall FB, or better yet uninstall and get rid of the creepy thing. 😉
I have the same issue. And the last software update drains my phone pretty quick. Edit: Plug the phone in to a computer (as most of the other users recommend) and it will work
