I was very very tempted by the ltd Edition chrome reels a few months ago but having just brought 2 casting specials and 2 515's as well are half a dozen rods I really couldnt justify getting them , that being said If I happen to stumble across someone selling 1 at some point who knows
They are beautiful things that's for sure. That said, I love my Fathoms, it's just nice to have something different to use now and again. I have the same philosophy with women. 😂
The drag holds, it certainly didn't slip when casting. I'm aware that Akios do a longer double power handle along with a longer spined star drag, which I think I'll try to source.
Stu mate all mine are set up for field, no break blocks in any of them, dry abec 9 bearings , the mags do all the work buddy, give me a shout if you need any help man
Hi Stu, you tackle tart. Lol. Soak the bearings in lighter fluid, let them dry, and then soak them in red TG rocket fuel. Just my opinion, of course! Cheers and tight lines.

Interesting. Does it still have a "real world" drag? I think I'd want a more substantial grip knob.

Good luck using them stu.used one for a year but found them hard.i could not use on dark nights lost count how many birds nest I had.
