I’m rather interested in this product, however I was under the assumption that all kinds of waxed based conditioners and such should be avoided on open grain fretboards? Any insight on this?
so you apply to the fingerboard and the rest of the neck?
I’m definitely thinking of getting it! Would I have to strip the satin finish off the back of the neck with some sandpaper?
Yes, only works on bare wood, any finish on it will prevent the stain being absorbed.

Do you oil the neck first or just wax it?
Apply it straight onto the bare wood.
Can you apply this over nitro?
Suggested for raw. Over a thin nitro would be ok.
Aint it supposed to be for the fretboard ?? Didn't look that dark to me
Works on any unfinished wood: fingerboard, sanded and/or unfinished back of neck etc
Multiple coats gets it dark.
