After owning a 2016 Kawasaki ZX10R (fully built trackbike) for a couple years, I got the chance to sample a comparably built 2016 Yamaha R1!

Whoaaaaa now you may need to jump on my zx10r I’m confident the r1 doesn’t compare. The mid range has been fixed. Stock to modded is night and day. Modded zx10r VS modded r1, not even close. Kawi 4 lyfe 😂

Mann been there done that and I love the zx10r more. The r1 is so uncomfortable and the top end was depressing. I need to get the ecu flashed on the 10r and get the midrange going

I’m a Zx10r guy but I love the r1 too. I’m 16 krt is my baby tho
I hear ya...it’s literally like choosing between my kids hahaha
i chose kawi because i considered a lot of things,first was cost...kawi was 9k r1 was 13...kawi insurance few times cheaper than r1,kawi does way more miles on full tank than r1,kawi does not need to spend extra £6000 on engine to run...yamaha does...comfort also,storage space...kasette gear box...
Yeah definitely Kawi has a lot more going for it!

They are truly outstanding machines.
ZX 10 of course and it sounds way way way way better, not like the scooter sounding R1 with an any exhaust any i got a question. Why do they wrap motorcycle tires up in racing tracks?
Good choice!
Those are warmers to bring the super hard slicks up to a temperature that softens the rubber. These tires are only super sticky when super hot.

Ive had an mt10 for awhile now been debating between these two animals truth be told I’m leaning towards the Kawasaki even though the r1 has that low to mid range torque I love,but the kawi just eggs you on screaming faster bitch!!!

@@Kawasaki_lad the Moto America teams are using Motec ECU’s at the moment. Club racers are screwed until Woolich or someone does the flashing.
