Looking good! That extra crossbunk and clamp bar receiver will really come in handy! Norwood also has a video series on assembling the HD38. Looking forward to more of your videos!

Thank you for posting this. My hd38 is on the way. This video is exactly what I needed. Thank you thank you! Are you anywhere near North West Arkansas, Ozark Mountains?

Hey buddy how are ya? Oh man I’m glad I found your channel!! I start Tuesday assembling my hd36v2 sawmill. It has the same kinda track as yours. I was looking through the manual and it is not clear about things but you show how so thank you very much. I can’t wait to see more of what you doing with you mill! Thanks again God bless you and yours!

Great video, was the trailer kit included with your mill or was that an extra attachment?

How did you close the rail(not track) gaps as you assembled the unit? ..I got mine all leveled and ready to tighten and there's these small gaps..it too heavy a structure now to push them together..

As I was assembling the bed a drift pin was my best friend. I also tightened some of the bolts to get the rails and splice plates pulled tight then backed them off just a bit so that I could fine tune the rails.
All of my rails butt tight but there are a few small gapes between the splice plates. As for your problem I would start at the center and work outward, pull a bolt and use a drift pin or a pry bar www.harborfreight.com/hand-tools/hammers-pry-bars/pry-bar-set-3-pc-68339.html to pull the rails together. Tighten one bolt each side of the joint before rechecking level then move on to next joint rinse and repeat. I left most of that out of the video just me bent over trying to pull things in to alignment. Your right about the bed being heavy, specs say that it is 755lb. I had to use my tractor to lift it to get the blocks under it.

@@ljmilling9157 I’m using a drift pen as well and I’ve also used a couple of ratchet straps one on each side and tighten the snot out of it so I pulled everything together.

When did it arrive and how long did you have to wait to receive it? I'm thinking of getting the HD 36.
