Seing Zion in the winter with a little snow to highlight the rock cracks is a gem of a time to come, even on a bike. The crowds are gone and you have it o yourself. Enjoy. Do a Vegas rent and ride.
Because of covid, the American National Parks (and other State Parks) are overwhelmed this summer. Outdoor activities have skyrocketed in popularity. Bicycles, motorcycles, hunting/fishing gear, camping/hiking equipment have all sold really well the past year
Beautiful country. My brother and I spent the month of June touring southeast Utah. Arches NP, Canyon Lands NP, Capital Reef NP, Bears Ears, Blue Mountain, Natural Bridges NP, Monument Valley NP, And Hoven Weep NP. Utah has amazing scenery and history to enjoy.
Congrats to you for taking the time to appreciate the Southwest and all it has to offer. Too many people burn through our 5 national parks and think they have seen Utah. Lea’s pacing in her Oman tour was perfect too. Unfortunately with so large a canvas, she would have needed a year to see the US.
Hi Lea. You have confirmed what a number of people have told me about the spectacular Bryce Canyon and Zion. Many prefer it to the Grand Canyon . And those winding roads are perfect for a motorcycle ride. Thanks for the wonderful video. Cheers, Dan 😃. 🏍🇨🇦
Die Nationalparks in den Staaten....einer schöner wie der Andere. Bin ja mal gespannt wo du noch überall durchkommst. Ein paar kenne ich, aber alle wird man wohl nie schaffen. Schön dass du uns wieder mitnimmst. Hab ich da was versäumt? Seid ihr jetzt got3go? LG
Coming back to LA from Colorado, my wife and i went through the Grand Staircase-Escalante, Brice and Zion parks. She isnt a big hiker but we spent several hours more than planned as i explored every nook and cranny. This is the desert people arent aware of and its absolutely beautiful.
Leah. Your videos are amazing. You have the rare ability to capture true natural beauty with the sensibility of a woman. I follow your trips from earlier on, and your videos and narrative keep getting better and better. I commend you for the good work that you do.
lovin' that intro music, steel guitar. I have to watch your video very closely to see where you lifted any song lyrics lol hehe.....I will shout if I spot anything lol
Totally mind blowing and totally divine. Thank you for giving us a taster of the sheer magnificence of this part of the world. Big respect and much love ❤ 🙌🌍💚
I am loving this series with the fantastic landscapes and wide open spaces. Thanks for sharing your journey it is reminding me on my 2008 cross America ride on a Triumph. Ride safe.
Yup, just like I told you in last weeks episode, the footage, editing, and music made me long to riding along with you guys. I especially loved the under canvas and the terrace ride early in in the vid. The entire time I was watching that section all that kept coming to my mind was “why is this not being used by the Utah Tourism Bureau to promote bike touring in Utah”. It was exceptional. I have yet to see any footage of Bryce that really does it justice. I look forward to next week. Oh BTW, I am enjoying your book immensely.
Thank you so much! And happy you like the book! I completely agree: Bryce is impossible to capture, somehow you need to see it yourself to get a feeling for the dimensions (I think it’s actually the same with many of the canyons in Utah - you don’t see on video how majestic and deep they are…)
"So far Away "! Says the man... Three people and two motorcycles take highway 9. At Canvas, they stop. The great glamping experience, feeling and watching these impressive sights leaves them stunned. Two to follow from Alama make contact. Again on Scenic byway 12, breathtaking scenery never ceases to amaze you... Following the yellow line is a must on this long and torrid path. Mantles of red rocks flanked by shadows and rock castles, immense spaces are lost in the long and great road of dreams, ideas and fantasies. A roar is audible and disappears "Blowing in the wind" and reappears on Thursday's page....The sweet Moon is already dreaming, only the waterfall is wakes up... Stay well and enjoy the weekend,
I have lived my whole life in the American 'Great Lakes' area...but I have visited to the American South-West several times. I agree, a video or picture cannot communicate the grand nature and the spectacular views. It must be viewed in person.
Hi ya Lea and travel partners...fantastic places you have shown us ..l absolutely loved the mountains and canyons the colours was outstanding..what a biker's road..same time same channel same day ...take care the lady in Red..🏍👍😊
I have been past this area on the I-15 five or six times, but I only entered inside Zion once, back in 1961. I went up to the entrance once in 2005, but my "Cinderella" hour came too quickly. My wife was back in Las Vegas at the time, attending a nursing convention. I returned again in 2014 but I was suffered from the tyranny of time. I had been to Bryce on the same day. I've never driven eastward from there, never seen Lake Powell or the Antelope Canyon.
That landscape may making pictures that knock the viewer's socks off easy, but still… Absolutely stunningly beautiful! Great job at capturing the beauty as well!
This area is indeed incredible. There aren't adequate words in the English language to describe the vastness, beauty, and diversity of landscapes. You are correct, it is very difficult to capture the fullness on film or video. Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely loved this episode, I had no idea how stunning the Utah landscapes are, mind blowing beautiful, I suppose the only down side was how popular it is, but you also seem to have the knack of capturing such scenes on video and making them so atmospheric, so thank you so very much...
Thank you! The great think about Utah is though, that there are so many amazing roads where literally nobody is (you will see in the next episode) that I prefer a lot to the busy national parks!
I am ashamed to say as an American (also Italian citizen) that I have been to 27 countries, but have not visited these wonderful parks. Thanks for the great video!
Hello Lea, your video is so awesome that I have had to watch it twice. Your narrations, the drone shots, the music and the landscape, what a beautiful trip you are showing us. Thank you very much Lea. Greetings from Argentian.
Thank you for wonderful video! It is really interesting and motivating! Cannot wait when all of us start travel again! Thank you for helping to promote tourism!
Great video. I would love to stay in those tents, so cool. Beautiful scenery! I would love to ride my bike out west sometime and take some pictures. Keep up the good work, and be safe out there.
First I want to express how beautiful your videos are. They are so enjoyable. I am glad I discovered your channel. Of the two parks I think I liked Bryce better. Both are great though. We did hike down into the park. It was an amazing trip. We did plan our Utah trip months in advance so we did have accommodations along the way. Our trip consisted of North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, Capital Reef and Arches. Not enough time for Canyon Lands. Thank you.
This is a Joy to watch. Brings back memories of a road (camping) trip in 1993 with Austrian gfriend to the 4 corner states. We were on that ferry. Did you get sea sick again. That water was nice and cool. Thanks again, so beautiful
Great report, Lea. Unfortunately you confirm what I feared: the crowds in the national parks are not pleasant to experience. But it is like that. Keep us posted. ;-)
Hi Lea, I'm beginning my plan to ride this same route this coming June. I'm so appreciative of the information you're sharing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we can "glamp" at the same place you highlighted. :) Blessings to you!
Lea, in North America leaving luggage unattended is not a big deal like it is in other countries, especially when there is a lot of people. National Parks are extra busy this year, due to the pandemic and lack of international travel. Thanks for the video.
That was spectacular!! moon like in places and the glamping tents, wow!! I'd have wanted to sleep in the open it was so gorgeous and I bet the night sky was just something else.

I would like to say that it wasn’t as beautiful as it might look like to make you less jealous - but it was even more pretty 😂🤗
