I watched IPL for TGC. They killed it this season, They slowly getting themself indianized reluctantly. If you need water you have to go to river where water is. don't laugh at others . ipl 2022 was also worst. can't score a 130 runs chase in 15 to 16 overs in final. but still gujarat titans won. because of their bowling. ipl 2022 was also boring according to others. kkr bowling is way better than any other team in ipl 2024. after punjab kings defeat, there was a wake up call for their bowlers and they have showed their class through bowling in every match. never lost a match in may month.

I always look for things that people find in things. For example who can point out why SRH lost? Its it batsman? is it cummins luck deserted him as a rooster? or Kavya maran is unlucky in sports and lucky with money. Oh she is year of monkey. Simpler reason: latter end of the IPL the ball has started to swing - especially in the first few overs. Because of more choices of balls, more worn out pitches and the weather. So, SRH's explosions only worked on flat(ter) pitches where the ball doesn't move. Happened in the last 3-4 matches for them. RR got very nervy in the Eliminator and Cummins captained brilliantly leaning into spin - but, swing is a weakness for all batters :).

KKR won because of gambhir but mainly because of DRAGON. This is year of dragon. So russell and narine performance is key for KKR win.
Now this is sketchy , abishek sharma is dragon too.
So how do you predict? Simple. I have negative people and positive people... So i add up. Any team has net positive has greater chance to win.
Even if you are sink (negative) , if its your year , you turn to positive temporarily in this year. But if you are positive and you become negative in your kryptonite year.

Shreyas Iyer sucks. Some people can win big stuff if they are side show. Like sachin in 2011 world cup. KKR win is mainly due to Gambhir. Biggest problem in every IPL team is politics. Gambhir removes some of it as a ROOSTER , he got that charm.
Iyer had a pretty good record previously also. GG is tremendous no doubt - but, it's highly unlikely that a captain sucks when a team wins the whole tournament :).
