ooh! well, flipping the canvas isn’t always necessary, a lot of artists don’t actually do it, but it helps artists see any little mistakes by looking at it at a different angle! Like if I flipped the canvas and I notice something off about the placement of an eye, I can fix it up a bit! hope that makes a bit of sense!

Flipping the canvas can help you see mistakes! Like it looks like its symmetrical but when you flip it, its actually lopsided
