Working on my first Special Shaped Partial Diamond Painting

I was recently contacted by the company, onedaysaving, to see if I'd like to do an unboxing and review their products. They are a crafty website that carries items such as diamond paintings, cross stitch and other handcrafts. So today I'm working on one of the special drill Diamond Paintings that they sent me. This is the first partial DP I've done and also the first time I've ever worked with special drills. I love hummingbirds, so I'm excited to start working on this one.

Partials and Special drill paintings are fun to do. I like doing then between big paintings, just to give myself a rest.

What a great idea! I’m working on a large square drill DP right now. So this one is definitely going to be a nice change of pace!

I have this one in my stash and it’s lovely! I use tweezers for the bigger gems. I find them easier than the pen. I love my special drills! I usually do them in between bigger paintings

Actually I've done many partial master of fact I'm going to be participating in #smashinthespecials4 this year this will be my 3rd time participating in that event!!

What is partial diamond painting?

Ohhh! It's just when you don't cover the whole canvas in drills. Partials usually have special shapes too, like this one. They're much quicker to work up since you don't have to fill the whole canvas.
