Beautiful. Absolutely stunning work. ❤ I would love to see the subject's reaction to the outcome. It must be very surreal to see one's own face recreated with such mastery.
So happy I came across these videos of Jamie Salmon... your portrait sculptures are extraordinary! Your attention to the subject's details are amazing!!
How i wish to have my only sons replica. but i know how dear to have one. .😭i lost my only son during pandemic. so i did not see him and hug him. he was given to me in a warm jar 😢😢😢🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻still missing my only son 😭
This, THIS is exactly what I wanted to see! I love the works that you have created and have always been curious HOW they are done. You succeed in capturing the character of the subjects that you produce. Truly incredible work. Very informative and inspiring. Keep them coming! Will you also be showing these long form videos of Jackie's works as well? I love her sculptures too!
Thank you, and I'm very glad to hear this means so much to you. There's so much more coming so please keep checking back. To answer your question about Jackie's works, she is working on her own new channel and hopefully you'll see something from that in the not too distant future.
@@jamiesalmonsculpture8599 you bear something of a resemblance to a character from The Office (which is to say, a highly recognizable fictional individual), David Wallace
mind blowing technique here. Why not make the eyes with a realistic lens bulge or whatever the term is. the spherical eyeball has been a convention for decades to simplify puppetry but not necessary for a static piece
Scaling up is just math really, and measurement. Many ways to do it, old school using calipers, or enlarging using modern technology like scanning and cnc
As close to real as can be... amazing.. you being an artist is an understatement.

I wish they showed him making the skin texture. That must have been the hardest part.
As someone who is trying sculpting for the very first time, this is absolutely inspirational
Is Jamie's level of craftsmanship almost frightening?

How do you know what's the scale and how big are the pores?
Scaling up is just math really, and measurement. Many ways to do it, old school using calipers, or enlarging using modern technology like scanning and cnc
Is Chris known for anything else? He looks very familiar...
he is a star!
Anybody else wanna see this guy make David and Goliath
That would be fun!
The portrait is extraordinary. What a shame the work was all in slideshow. It would have been amazing to see the process
Yeah, this was made a long time ago, before I even owned a video camera and before UA-cam was even a thing!
I want to make a sculpture for some one special for me........ Can I contact you by any way
Sure, I'm on Facebook and IG. Can you reach out through their by messages?
You can also contact my gallery representative. Link is on my main UA-cam banner pic.

Some people are just gifted. Impressive! Love the sculpture, don't like the mount.
Thanks, regarding the mount....it was a very early personal work. I had no money to make any of this, let alone a fancy mount!
@@jamiesalmonsculpture8599 Hey! Who am I to say anything? That sculpture was absolutely amazing!
