- Baha'ism or the Baha'i faith is a monotheistic religion where the teachings of Baha'u'llah, its founder and considered its prophet, are followed. He says that the great religions have been represented by messengers such as Moses, Krishna, Buddha, Zoroaster, Jesus Christ, Muhammad, who have constituted successive stages in the spiritual development of Civilization. Well then, the Bahais believe that Baha u llah has been the most recent messenger of this saga, and that his teachings are oriented to the new moral and spiritual challenges of our present time.
Its central principles say that there is only one god, there is only one humanity without distinction of race, gender, that we are all equal and it says that all the great religions receive inspiration from the same divine source. This religion is believed to have about 7 million adherents, and the majority are in India.
The history of Bahaism begins with a former Persian prophet. In the year 1844 Sayyid Ali Muhammad took the title of "El Bab" (The door in Arabic) and created a new religion, the Babi Faith, or Babismo. It was different from Islam, although it arose from its bosom, in the same way Christianity arose from the bosom of Judaism and Buddhism from Hinduism. He had his own scriptures and religious teachings. As it became popular, and more and more people became interested in these new teachings, the political and religious authorities of Persia were alarmed. So Bab and his followers were persecuted. Bab was imprisoned and finally shot in 1950 in Tabriz, in present-day Iran. It was a religion that barely lasted 6 years.
After his death, the followers of Babism continued to be persecuted. One of the most implicated in this religion was Baha'u'llah, who was arrested and imprisoned in 1852 during a great persecution. During his imprisonment Baha'u'llah felt the revelation that Bab himself had appointed him as the next prophet. So, eleven years later, in exile in Baghdad, he announced this idea to his family and a small group of followers. This forced him to live continuously in exile in different places, until he arrived in 1868 in the penal colony of Acre (in present-day Israel), where he spent 40 years in exile and confinement, until he died.
Baha'u'llah wrote numerous texts that the Baha'i faith considers to have been inspired by God. The main repertoire of the laws of revelation that Baha'u'llah had is the Kitab-i-Aqdas "The most sacred book." The second in importance is the Kitab-i-Iqan which brings together the elementary features of Bahai theology.
The Baha'i faith defends world peace, the harmony between religion and science. It says that a universal compulsory education is necessary and the guidelines that the government says must be followed. We must find a spiritual solution to economic problems and we must eliminate extreme poverty and wealth. The Bahai principle seeks moderation in everything, and they have no rites or traditions since rigidity is considered a quality to avoid. The Baha'i faith says that although our age is dark, the future of humanity is bright and world peace is inevitable.
Baha'i institutions are strictly prohibited from soliciting funds from individuals, and only accept contributions from individuals who are registered as Bahais.
They usually fast for 19 days a year, and drinking alcohol or using drugs is prohibited. Family life is the cornerstone of your society. Marriages are encouraged, yes, only between a man and a woman. If your resources allow only the education of one of her children, the daughter should be the one who receives it since she will be the first to educate her future children.
This faith has supported the United Nations since its inception. Baha'u'llah defended the need for a world government, since humanity is in a time of collective life. And he was not wrong, globalization has arrived. But an agreement and a world government not yet.

muy bonito. realmente necesitamos un gobierno mundial federado elegido por todos que anteponga el bien común, la paz, la seguridad y la protección del medio ambiente pues una nube radioactiva o contaminación no tienen fronteras. El Báb fue fusilado en 1850. En la Fe Bahá`í no se difunden imágenes del Báb y Bahá`u`lláh para no caer en la veneración de imágenes, por lo que sería más respetuoso si quitaras las imágenes.

Para los bahai's no está prohibido observar la imagen del bab y bahaullah? O sea, no debería haber fotos de ellos en internet o cualquier otro lugar, solo en tierra santa en peregrinación? No se si me explico ni si me equivoco
No sabría decirte si está prohibido, lo que si se evita es la idolatría a imágenes o personas
No te equivocas. La razón de la prohibición sobre la posesión de imágenes de El Báb o Bahá'u'lláh es para evitar cualquier tipo de veneración que pudiera surgir, además que ver las imágenes de estos Grandes profetas de nuestro tiempo es uno de los momentos mas conmovedores y privilegiados de quienes hacen su Peregrinaje. La imágenes que si circulan por internet son de origen profano.

@@Notch-ih6co Fui bahaí durante más de 40 años, estuve activo hasta que investigué toda la verdad de la fe bahaí y de todas las religiones que son un fraude, un engaño de un Dios inventado por el ser humano, una fe bahaí como la bahaí que quería de imponer por la fuerza como lo hizo Mahoma con la muerte del infiel, los registros históricos de Mahoma lo muestran como un sujeto lleno de delitos, pedófilo y mujeriego. Mahoma, según los registros históricos, en poco tiempo organizó una gran banda de guerreros y apoyado en su fe religiosa cometió todos los crímenes humanamente posibles, saqueó todos los pueblos que pudo someter y esclavizó a sus habitantes. No fundó un estado musulmán, sino que estableció una recaudación de impuestos religiosos en todo el territorio que logró conquistar. Lo único que le importaba a él ya su cuerpo de guerreros era saquear pueblos, esclavizar a la gente y recaudar impuestos por la enseñanza de su fe musulmana, que en todos sus dominios la imponía como obligatoria.
