I would never understand the need to make Izuku glaze bakugo in almost 75% of fanfics. Like completely ignores all the terrible stuff he does and says some cringey glazed filled words like "I respect him" and " When I think of victory, I think of bakugo". It always seems like no matter how powerful he is or how much encouragement he gets, he Wines up still being timid, depressed and stuttering mess.
Edit: I forgot to say this in my previous comment but I'm glad they addressed that nonsense in this fiction, so that's a plus.

I get what you mean, in the anime tho Deku does admire Bakugo a lot but the fics take it to the point where Deku has Stockholm syndrome or something like that
