    Love the vids on the furnace. Hope to see more on it. I bought one last year and didn’t have much luck with it but gonna try again next winter. Love to learn more about it. Burn time, chimney cleaning m, ect. Good work

      Thanks, I've been very happy with the furnace. I wish I had the funds to at least hook up ductwork through the house because I think it would help. I'm looking forward to when I can afford central air in the house so it is easier to circulate the warm air put out by the furnace. I have a chimney company clean my chimney. Home owners insurance requires I have it professionally done. Last year, there really wasn't a lot of build-up, and I burned some green wood for about a month until my church donated wood to me. I plan on doing more videos on the furnace. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      I'm looking forward to hooking up a central air system to it. I think it will be even more efficient when I do that. Merry Christmas, buddy. I hope Santa brings you lots of tractor stuff!

    Thanks for the review. I’m probably going to buy one of these for my 30x35 building. I’m convinced all the bad reviews on this and your other video are from people who have no idea what they’re doing or talking about when it comes to burning wood lol.

      I agree with you. I will say these furnaces need well seasoned wood and it doesn't like wet wood. I've been very happy with this furnace. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    I’m thinking about heating with wood to off set my propane heating. I don’t have a basement to put a wood furnace in. Would I be able to put this in my utility room and run the ductwork under my floor and connect it into the existing ductwork in my home?

    • @clashavenfarms6714
      @clashavenfarms6714  3 місяці тому

      You probably could. The room will probably get really hot even with having the ductwork tied into your central air system.

    roughly, (after you get it going) how long does a good load of wood burn?

    • @clashavenfarms6714
      @clashavenfarms6714  4 дні тому

      Seasoned hard wood I can do an easy 8-10hr burn once I get the fire going good.

    Is this cheaper to run than the modern day gas furnace? Also does the heat feel any different? Great set up thanks for sharing

    • @clashavenfarms6714
      @clashavenfarms6714  7 місяців тому

      For me, it's cheaper because I already have the equipment to process the firewood. It all depends on if you have the time to process the wood. The room to store it and the money to spend on the furnace. The only electricity it needs is to run two fans. I love wood heat. Biggest draw back with the furnace being in the house is increased dust and humidity levels. I've never used natural gas as a main heat source, but I would imagine it's a lot more expensive to run than my current setup.

    Even though you explained how it works wrong could you explain why you needed to replace your switch?

    • @clashavenfarms6714
      @clashavenfarms6714  6 місяців тому

      The switch stopped working. I'm not sure why. Sometimes, parts break. Maybe you can tell me why there keyboard warrior.

      @@clashavenfarms6714 keyboard warrior? I have this furnace now and Just asked a question. Did it not kick in right, was it short cycling, did it just not turn on? Sorry to make you so defensive.

    If you are flush with cash,just use gas,propane,or oil.
    We use these furnaces to save money& keep our house warm.

    I personally never cared for the stoves with the inducer fan on it, simply because - when thermostat is not calling for heat, the flame in the stove just smolders, producing alot of creosote in the pipes and chimney, which I don' want. I'd rather burn my hot and steady using less wood on warmer days or just opening a window (or not using the stove at all)

    • @clashavenfarms6714
      @clashavenfarms6714  7 місяців тому +1

      I agree. I do like the fan at night because I don't have to worry about the fire burning out. On warmer days, I don't run this furnace at all. I just put a space heater in my room to keep me comfortable or put on more layers. I was surprised at the low amount of creosote after burning all last year. These new furnaces are very efficient but again the wood needs to be well seasoned. Thanks for watching and commenting.

      Right around 5 cords. I'm on pace for the same this year.
