The Espat family from San Pedro is asking for justice after one of their own was gunned down while fishing at sea on Saturday. Jerry Espat and three of his siblings were diving and fishing near Cangrejo Caye, about five miles south of Ambergris Caye when they were attacked by gunmen in two boats. Several bullets made their mark on Jerry, whose body was discovered the following day near some mangroves. News Five’s Duane Moody reports.

@@DeinVatersVater dumb, lol no I'm Belizean the gun ownership laws are to oppressive and prohibitively expensive here in Belize for the type of gun ownership necessary for our people to be able to protect ourselves. Poor people always get the short end of the stick.

They did something bad
