I liked this episode/scene because it shows that Brooke didn't forget about Peyton. Something I depise about tv shows, is how former characters are forgotten once they are written out of the series. It shows how solid Brooke's loyalty is to her childhood bestfriend. So I am glad that they EXPLAINED(in a later scene in this episode), just WHY Haley is NOW her bestfriend. I've always loved the friendship of Brooke and Haley. I feel it's more real and genuine. TOo much drama with Peyton.
I disliked the scene as it felt they were making digs at Peyton...when Hilarie didn't want to come back thanks to Mark. I always saw it more as Peyton/Brooke would've kept in contact a lot despite the distance - like Lucas wrote letters to Haley in s7, but for Peyton they made it seem they barely spoke anymore?
Peyton's drama was mainly with Lucas. After they got together that drama was gone. On top of that, they were young. The "maturity" you see comes when they're in their late twenties
I didn't like this scene either, as it did seem like a dig at Peyton, post season 6, not the first time, post, or even pre-S6. But, post(S6), 'Peyton' wasn't there to speak...
laykerzfan4lyfe Lucas and peyton are traveling and spending time with Karen and Andy and because sawyer was sick and couldn't make it which makes me sad because LUCAS and PEYTON ARE not IN THE SHOW
