I never knew about Lanap until today. The dentist who extracted my troubled tooth last week was trying to sell me whole mouth implant. Thank God I do my research as carefully as I can and not just sank under her “scare” tactics. I think I want to do LANAP next. Why is LANAP called surgery? Isnt it laser?
Don’t believe them when they say this isn’t painful or a super fast recovery time. This is one of the most painful things I have ever had done to me in my life. I had the procedure on Wednesday morning and right now it’s Sunday afternoon and the pain has not yet subsided. I’ll take an entire bottle of Tylenol over the last four days. I’m super hesitant to actually get the other side of my mouth down because I don’t know if I can go through this again
they underestimating the excruciating pain! I am 4 weeks now from getting only the left side done,, I couldn't do the right side after 2 weeks as they saying, I am scheduled next week for the right side and still having significant pain!
Can this be done on a tooth that has a gold crown that's had a root canal? My dentist says it has bone loss under the crown and may need to be extracted. I heard this may help regenerate bone.
@USA ASMR - Sorry - I just corrected it. - it was a question to another post that was on here and was probably deleted by that other poster. Because its gone now. No- my treatment so far has been $1040.00 for the Lanap portion. Insurance caught half.
I agree, I have the procedure on Wednesday and right now it’s a Sunday afternoon and I am in so much pain I can hardly stand it. They are making this procedure out to be like it’s a cakewalk and it’s not
@@MichaelBrown-ho5wc OMG the LANAP hurt??? You would have numbing done right? Maybe gums will be a bit sore thereafter. Did you have the treatment cos of gum disease? 😓
Hi Kathy - gum disease is definitely not a new problem! It's a major issue - check out some of the stats from the CDC: www.cdc.gov/oralhealth/conditions/periodontal-disease.html
What is it with these canned/ staged interviews? Obviously trying to drum up some business without compensating the patient more than likely yet you can bet the patient paid "bigly."

Got the LANAP done last month. It’s a Laser .. NO PAIN. Maybe your Dr used the wrong laser
@@reppartnerga5264 oh nooo I'm one week out and I'm still so sore. How are you doing now?
@@JG638imagine it has to do with severity of gum disease
Great Video - Thank you. I have already reached out to a Lanap Surgeon and am hoping it will change my life. Cheers.
How much was it ?
How did you go with it? I am thinking of it next.
@@davidcampoverde8797 Probably 3k for the whole mouth.
Soft diet - for 3 days. 10 days of no brushing- prescription rinse only

Yes. It can but I think
U have to do the whole mouth laser instead of one
how much does this cost?
4000-7000 without insurance?

It is not new problem. Many have it without realising. And most people lose teeth due to gum disease.
