Contesting with loose rubble,large rocks & shards of large shale can be frustrating

Contesting with loose rubble,large rocks and shards of large black shale can be frustrating while retrieving a target. As you can see in this Video
I loose my target further down into the cracks of the loose material With no target response from my machine..
What I've learned through my time prospecting is to open the hole up so your coil can fit in and hit the ground again revealing that sweet gold sound again.
If you are on a small target and having difficulty hearing it over your coil as I do at times, make sure you distance yourself from the coil especially when running dual speakers, SPO1's and wireless equipment on your harness and it helps with
Small scoops of soil at a time and put it all aside..
