I've always considered U-know as the "Proto-Taemin." He was the best dancer in Kpop during his debut era (and can still hold his own against idols who weren't even born then), he worked hard to develop his vocal talent when he was considered a dancer, and he has such a clear, unique artistic vision for his solo work. He is criminally underrated.
The three mini albums of uknow is a whole story.True colors are the future, Noir is the past, Reality Show is the present. And it's a story about Uknow himself. He planned it all himself.
omg you have to watch NEXUS! it's from the Reality show album, like a long music video that tells a story but samples all the songs in the album to tell the story. Its amazing!
Yes the Noir album is great! and most of the songs have short promo videos if you want to check them out. My favorite U-know b-side has to be from his first mini, 'Swing' a duet with Boa who is a good friend of his. The live stage from SMtown was fantastic!
He is indeed an actor, although the last time I’ve seen him in a drama was in 2017. I also love the actor who stabs him in the Thank U MV, he’s in my favorite drama Mr. Sunshine! Yunho is well known as a man with infinite amount of passion and I think even with just a few MVs that already becomes obvious to anyone watching.
there are A LOT of things you need to check out from yunho, especially from the noir album, cause every songs have an mv of their on even tho not a full song and not a continuity (i think?) BUT STILL amazing, great songs too. from the reality show album i think nexus is a must to understand what is the vuja de mv about, also it includes snippet all of the songs in the album👍 thank u for the reaction!
Just want to say U-know did all the stunts himself in Thank U. There is behind the scene’s footage of it. The actor who plays against him is well respected actor in Korea and actually put his filming on hold to do this as a favor for U-know. You should check out the loco MV it’s so creative and fun
Thank you very much for your reactions to TVXQ❤ I hope you continue making more reactions to these wonderful artists. I would love to see you react to Yunho's short film "Nexus" and his live performances at Nissan Stadium and the Tokyo Dome.
Actually with "Drop" I think its much better live - and of course there was the "Mr. Passion" wardrobe malfunction! And with "Vuja de" you need to see the whole thing "Nexus" to understand what's going on since its a whole story. Also I suggest you check out the video for "Spotlight" it is really incredible - mostly just Yunho dancing and singing the song!
Hi Rj! Thank u for your reaction. "Drop" talking about corrupt system, in "Eeny meeny" he bled because of the car accident, and he fell when he run with seulgi. To understand "Vuja de" u should check out "NEXUS" short film too, nexus show casing all the songs in the album. Shoutout from Indonesian CASSIOPEIA 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩
Hey RJ, yaaay! Thanks for doing Drop and Thank U! I've also heard Eeny Meeny and Vuja De before, but I prefer Drop and Thank U more, because they seem so epic to me...at the beginning of Drop the voice says "this is Kings Speech", and U-Know looks so good! The boss man in Thank U is well known Korean actor Hwang Jung-Min, one of my favorite actors, next to Lee Byung-hun, always playing thee infamous bad guys in movies...but of course Kyung-soo is my all time favorite...💙🌺
I really like your reaction. Yunho is extremely talented main dancer, vocalist, rapper, and actor. Next please react to Jaejoong: Mine, Just another girl, paradise, one kiss. Thank you
Intro part is just in the video for Drop. Also the lyrics are about how this generation has been passed down a less than perfect world so if you feel inclined to look them up I think it helps. Also he went so hard during a performance for this song live that he split his pants and kept going till the end😅 Yunho loves putting other SM artists in his solo stuff so if you end up checking out champagne, city lights, swing and nexus short film you should see/hear some familiar artists
You need to watch NEXUS to more understand the complete short movie & Yunho's concept for his album/Reality Show. The album concept is really masterpiece, even the packaging of the album, MV, & the songs too. PS: Yunho got injured when he took Vuja De shoots and he hasn't been recovered yet until now (when he had to performed Rebel) 😢
Can you please react to U-Know : Spotlight / Special Performance Clip next please? 😃💕 It's B-side but very impressive for me though I don't know why, but I really love it 🥺😭💖 U-Know took the 3rd place in the world on AIKIDO 🥋 (Japanese Art of Self-defense) before debut, and he was also a good Taekwondo player! Thank U for U-Know Reaction!!! 😂🤭😭🙌🔥🇯🇵
You need to watch NEXUS before Vuja De, RJ.. there is story in there Edit: forgot to add. U-know wrote diary or journal about his daily life, and his Solo projects reflect on things that happen to him in the past till present. I think 'Thank You' was about all hate comments he received throughout his career (it was A LOT actually, esp during group split) that those actually felt like knife stabbing through your heart. And the 3rd Album Reality Show does reflect on his life, fame and so on.. He did really well.. thank you for you reaction RJ.. Now, how about checking their japanese releases and live stage performances ? 🤣 lol
✨Yunho is my ult bias, he’s the reason I got into kpop 13 years ago, but I really dislike most of his solo work lol. I actually liked Drop at the time but hearing it now, that EDM is too much lol. ✨Both Yunho and Changmin (as well as Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun) have done some acting. I would say that Yunho’s acting has definitely improved since I saw him in Heading to the Ground (2009). I think he plays serious roles well. ✨Thank you so much for reviewing TVXQ and their solo works. I’ve loved them for so long and have watched as they’ve slowly been pushed out of kpop spaces and it’s been nice to see them have this resurgence that they so deserve. Would love to see more, including Jaejoong and Junsu’s solos; I think you’d really appreciate their music.
I love drop, but I can understand that it’s not for everyone😂. Yunho and changmin are both incredible, they both have pretty different styles for their solo work but they match so well.
U-Know is known for his passion and intensity. If you think he was hitting it hard in his "Drop" MV, just wait until you see him perform live. There is almost no one in the Kpop industry that is more passionate than him when it comes to singing and dancing, and believe it or not, be rachetes it up even more when he is performing live. You know how SHINee's Minho is known for his passion for sports and games and life in general, well it's a running joke in the Kpop industry that Minho, U-Know and Siwon from Super Junior make up the holy trinity of passion within SM -- they are so convicted and intense that if they hang out together no one can compete with them. LOL ;) Also U-Know was/is the main dancer of TVXQ and he is known for his dancing. He is considered one of the top dancers in Kpop, so dance breaks are his thing, which is why "Drop" is very dance-centric. The more you get into TVXQ and U-know, you will see that intense, powerful dance moves are what he does. If a normal dancer puts 110% into a dance move, U-know uses 200%. You really need to get to know U-know and Changmin off stage to truly understand their personalities and their unique dynamic as a duo. Changmin and U-Know couldn't be more different personality-wise, and yet, they have been together for so long that they can practically read each others' minds without having to say anything. U-know is an actor. He has starred in several K-dramas, movies and musical stage plays. His most recent K-drama was "Race", which aired last year. The "Thank U" MV was rated 19 because in Korea that is considered the age of an adult and because of the fact that U-Know is smoking and there is a lot of violence in the MV, it isn't suitable for anyone who isn't an adult. The concept of U-Know's 2021 "Thank U" MV, and the whole Noir album, is designed around film noir, so you're supposed to feel like you're watching a drama. (Yes, "Eeny Meeny" is also part of the Noir album.) If you like the story/cinematic feel of his "Thank U" MV, just wait until you see his "'Nexus' Reality Show" teaser video, which features Karina from aespa. Now that's a whole almost 14 minute drama. "Vuja De" is his main track song from his Reality Show album that came out in the middle of last year. The "Vuja De" MV will make a little more sense when you see the "'Nexus' Reality Show" video. The teaser video pretty much sets up the storyline in "Vuja De." The entire Reality Show album is on another level.
He is so different and interesting. An outstanding live performer too. Please react to TVXQ’s latest ‘Rebel’. Who else would sample Carol of the Bells!
TVXQ in general, for me are the best.. yunho and changmin has such a unique art. Don't miss their live performances, absolutely THE BEST especially in Japan (Nissan stadium) .
About Who is in charge of the age rating is the KMRB (Korea Media Rating Board) a gouverment entity in charge to rate all the media in Korea by age before 2022 we have the ratings: ALL, 7, 12, 15 and 19 it seems a little random to have 19 instead of 18 but this is because of the Korean age so a 19 is the same as a +18, this is why the classifications changed in 2023 since they removed the korean age, now they have: ALL, 12, 15, 18 and Restricted (this last is for special topics that can "contain illegal content or offends the morality of adults are not permitted by South Korean censorship laws.")
Thanks so much for you TVXQ reactions they’ve been great but hope you will also take a look at the other three that formed JYJ Jaejoong for one is just so good and has a lot of solo stuff to look at
I don't really like Drop either, as you didn't like Catch Me that much I thought you wouldn't really vibe with it. I think you'll like Follow a lot better. NOIR is a visual mini, there are MVs for all the songs. It would have been nice if you had been able to do them in the order they were released but can't help Thank U and Eeny Meeny being recommended as much as they are 😅 Thank U is R19 because 19 is the adulthood age in South Korea so it's basically an r-rated (mini) movie. It's age restricted on UA-cam as well but Yunho preferred expressing all he wanted rather than make a general public driven MV. And I'm not surprised you were confused by Vuja De, the short film Nexus - it's a track medley in the form of a short film - will clear up (or maybe not...) your questions about the storyline as Vuja De scenes are taken from it, but it's basically about reality vs escapism ft. Karina. It's really well done and 100% worth the watch. Edit: would also recommend listening to his Japanese solo mini Kimi wa Saki e Iku, it's sooo good. As you have noticed both TVXQ songs and their solo songs are very bold in the production choices and visual creativity! They aren't afraid to make divisive choices in order to express themselves as artists ❤❤
I think the POINT of Yunho is his idea, his concept & the message what he wanted to say/deliver from his works. It's different from Changmin. Changmin got more in music . Changmin got his education until got PhD in post modern music, but Yunho got into broadcasting/performance. That's the difference of them. DROP when it was released the music isn't outdated. And in this MV/song Yunho want to say about REVOLUTION. You can see it from the MV. Actually I want to say much but I'm poor in English, sorry 🙏
After seeing each of their solo releases, I'm sure you will get why changmin and yunho fits so well together. They're so different, but it what keeps them going for so long.

He is criminally underrated.
Except that he's also good at rapping, he's not just proto-Taemin, he's the proto-ace
Yep shout it to the rooftops!!!
The Vuja De's mv needs to be followed up by NEXUS short film cuz the mv is the 'summary' of the short film 🥰
The three mini albums of uknow is a whole story.True colors are the future, Noir is the past, Reality Show is the present. And it's a story about Uknow himself. He planned it all himself.
U-Know................everyone take a long bow!!!!!!!!
Thank U will forever be one of my all time favorite music videos! It's a masterpiece!
omg you have to watch NEXUS! it's from the Reality show album, like a long music video that tells a story but samples all the songs in the album to tell the story. Its amazing!

one of the most unique solo discographies fr. his acting is insane
The nexus has an 11- minute version😀 which contains all 6 songs in his third mini album
there are A LOT of things you need to check out from yunho, especially from the noir album, cause every songs have an mv of their on even tho not a full song and not a continuity (i think?) BUT STILL amazing, great songs too. from the reality show album i think nexus is a must to understand what is the vuja de mv about, also it includes snippet all of the songs in the album👍 thank u for the reaction!
check DROP live performance at Nissan stadium, this is King of the stage, seriously❤

Please react to Champagne of Yunho, also Spotlight ❤️
Yunho is every bit as talented as Changmin, and together they are Legendary Kings. Thank you

Definitely should watch the NEXUS reality show. It showcases the whole mini album and basically tells a story. It's also like a mini movie hahah
I really like your reaction. Yunho is extremely talented main dancer, vocalist, rapper, and actor. Next please react to Jaejoong: Mine, Just another girl, paradise, one kiss. Thank you

wow increible no habia escuchado la música que hizo yunho😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗🤗😎😎😎😎💖💖💖💖💖💖👌👌👌

He is always underrated.. she is a talented dander & great singer
I recommend his song"君は先へ行く"and "Follow". Enjoy✌🏻

Now, how about checking their japanese releases and live stage performances ? 🤣 lol

You need to watch the nexus film

drop starts at 1:13 of the MV. 2:06 of your video
I love drop, but I can understand that it’s not for everyone😂. Yunho and changmin are both incredible, they both have pretty different styles for their solo work but they match so well.
Your face during DROP mv made me laugh haha
允浩的韓國單曲,常常是傳達一種“概念”,所以不太像主流音樂能夠傳唱😊~關於第三個mv,他最後流血,是呼應和女主角發生車禍之後才有的邂逅❤
Want to say that Yunho is one of the most dedicative and passionate artists in kpop. For his dedication, he deserves more and more. 🔥🔥🔥
U-Know is known for his passion and intensity. If you think he was hitting it hard in his "Drop" MV, just wait until you see him perform live. Wow the whole thing was well said 👏👏 (this is me literally clapping)
Not me reading this smiling from ear to ear its such a joy
He is so different and interesting. An outstanding live performer too. Please react to TVXQ’s latest ‘Rebel’. Who else would sample Carol of the Bells!
I mean, he just got in a car crash at the start of the video, that's why he's bleeding 🙊
PS: RV Seulgi and Joy...they are cassiopeia (TVXQ fans) before they're bcoming idols.
TVXQ in general, for me are the best.. yunho and changmin has such a unique art. Don't miss their live performances, absolutely THE BEST especially in Japan (Nissan stadium) .
Apologies - you had reacted to Rebel. And their Killing Voice. Thank you.
JYJ and Xia Junsu when? 😭

Can u react JYJ too?? The 3 member left
Please reacto to Simon dominic in Killing voice pllllls
Pls react Xia junsu and kim jeajoong
JAEJOONG NEXT!
After seeing each of their solo releases, I'm sure you will get why changmin and yunho fits so well together. They're so different, but it what keeps them going for so long.
