Long time fans of Torey would really appreciate this album on another level. Like for instance the song "What Shall It Profit" is a continuation of "Change the Channel" which was released about 3 years ago. The concept of "Choices directed this part of the show" is reminiscent of when God technically told Torey in change the channel that He was the director of life. As well as that part when the gun shots ring out and the car drives off; reminiscent of "Blow My High" from 2017 It's also in that same song when he mentioned "Death and God being on the same team". I could go on and on. So many throwback gems for the fans🤌🏽
INDIE TRIBE crew and REACH RECORDS crews have really changed the game in Hip Hop ( that includes mainstream hip hop). I will take CHH over mainstream hip hop now when it comes to lyricism, production, storytelling, musicianship, creativity, critical thinking.
AOTY for me easy. I have so much i could say about this album it's almost overwhelming. Good kid Maad City is my gold standard for Hip-Hop albums. I genuinely believe this album almost touches that standard. Maybe with time and repeated listens it will get there but for right now all i can say is Torey has really proved himself and he is one of the best current hiphop artists, secular or CHH.

Now Torey with this And all of Mogli’s recent work being incredible It’s incredible to see how they are all good on their own and they come together to give us even more amazing projects.
This is easily my album the year in CHH or even in non-Christian music so.far I guarantee if you show not Christian this they'll like it it's such a raw and deep album.the lyricism is the singing storytelling Crazy hype songs . It is such a good album. I almost cried a couple of times on the album. You better not even start me on. You better not cry. I love that track. It is incredible.

This is my #2 album of the year(sorry nobigdyl is still #1 for me). Didn't expect this from torey. So much lyricism, storytelling, great flow etc. Been sleeping on torey for too long fr.
