This is a very small habitat for this many Gorilla’s and as a lot of people are saying, these poor animals need grass and not hot rocks and dirt to sit on. I love seeing these guys but I feel sad for them as well.

For all his adolescent bluster I honestly think Gentaro has inherited his mother's gentle nature. Kinny is another story, I think, but Gentaro wil be a good dad if he gets the opportunity thanks more to Genki's genes than Momo's example.

Dadurch, dass er schon wieder mit Kintaro bolzen kann, sieht es nicht so schlimm aus, wie es gestern den Anschein hatte. Hier fehlen ganz viele Herzchen, aber es funktioniert bei mir immer noch nicht!!! Little Kintaro sitting next to Gentaro carefully looking at his hand, touching it gently, and showing such concern for his injury is heartwarming and heartbreaking all at the same time!! Their skin is so thick and tough it took something quite sharp to get thru their skin. And the laceration inside his mouth has to be throbbing and hurting him. I didn’t realize Gentaro had a dust off with Momo. What was it all about?? But I’m glad to see Genki at least sitting near Gentaro. Unfortunately this incident really shows Momo’s inability to control his aggressive, petty behavior. This is just the first of many injurious incidents I fear are coming to this family.

It looks like Gentaro fell and scraped his knuckles on perhaps a concrete wall while at the same time his canine tooth sliced his inner lip. My poor Gentaro, get better soon!

У Момо иногда отсутствуют родительские чувства, и это очень опасно для его детей..Очевидно они напуганы силой и властью отца..А Генки до сих пор обнимает своего малыша Кинтаро,как бы защищая его от любой неприятности..❤
My poor baby Gentaro, my heart breaks for you. The zoo needs to move them to a bigger space. They are in each other's space too much and it can be very dangerous at times. Momo will attack any of them for food. They should at least separate them during meal or snack time to avoid this. I just want to hug Gentaro and kick Momo, jk. But I do wish I could console Gentaro, my beautiful Gentaro.
I don't like their tiny steel beam dirt enclosure. The other zoos are more suited for gorilla's and the gorilla's are more happier. The inside is full of iron bars and doors .
MOMO BITES GENTARO over food , hes greedy father, he has no othger to challenge him so he takes it out on his sons, this place is to small , he can't exercise properly,
Momo has his bad days, yes a much larger & lush enclosure would be beneficial. We must remember Momo didn’t have a father to emulate. Someone is bound to get hurt while rough it up. 🩸Does anyone read our comments ??? It would be nice for someone to respond. ??
This took place months ago. What will you do when the silverback attacks again and really hurts one of the three that have nowhere to run or hide. If this video was taken right after the attack, you must have it filmed. Why not show everyone the real temper of the silverback?

Wenn ich das richtig sehe, geht es dem verletzten Gentaro schon besser, die Wunde an der Lippe sieht schon gut aus, gestern war sie sehr blutig!!! Dadurch, dass er schon wieder mit Kintaro bolzen kann, sieht es nicht so schlimm aus, wie es gestern den Anschein hatte.
