I grew up very near the Parkview station on the Norristown High Speed Line. In my day, the famous Brill Bullets ran on this line and I'd go stand on that bridge and watch the Bullet cars go right under me. I also used to enjoy exploring around the nearby golf course grounds and woods on the one side. The Parkview stop was only a local stop. It was the very first stop on the line after a train left the 69th Street Terminal. Express trains didn't stop there under any circumstances, but local trains did, if you pulled the cord on the car. There was als a cord to pull on the station to signal the operator that someone wanted on. If you happen to visit the Wikipedia entry for the Parkview stop, you'll see one of my pictures of the way it looked back in the '70s with a Bullet car nearing the stop.
+BreakingLimits//SickJamButter It is like a bus where you request stops, but these trains make certain stops regardless. If no one calls for the stop, the train keeps going
1:26 The Shelter is shaking from the mini sonic boom those cars make.

That's so unusual, but so cool!
These cars are like roaring airport people movers.
They are only allowed 55 MPH now. Changed in 2017.
Absolutely ridiculous.
How often do they link multiple cars together?
That is done during Rush Hours for max capacity.
Is this like a bus service, you press the stop button and it stops at the next stop?, im not from the US so I dont know
