I assume this is a spoof. The bloke in the green shirt is clearly giving an act... playing the role of a rather dim, naïve, and extremely gullible ignoramus who claims to have become interested in and attracted by several religions, without realising that they are mutually incompatible, or that Buddhists don't actually worship any god at all. I suppose it's moderately funny even if the character is not very believable... there are plenty of proselytising religionists who are that dim-witted but in my experience they are invariably far more aggressive, assertive, and unpleasantly self-righteous than green-shirt-guy here.
