Awesome vid as usual!! I appreciate you that you included the temperament of many of the corals! Most (if not all) of these corals I plan on having in my Nano reef. So this list certainly helps me know where to place them! I’d like to see some reviews on lights- especially for nano tanks. I’m considering the AI Prime but I hear good things about “Steve’s LEDs” but I’m not sure I know what that is exactly lol. Either way your vids are top quality and informative! Thanks for making the hobby easier than ever to become a part of!
Great video. As far as product reviews I’d like to see GFO, a carbon source and a coral food. You always put on a great video so I’m sure it will be great.
Excellent break down on some of the different varieties of LPS ☺ my tank is largely lps and I really like the awesome colors they present. I plan on using the tropic eden substrate when I start my large build.
I just picked up some frags from reef stock in Denver. They had some amazing Coral for really decent prices too! I got a orange leptoseris that is amazing, a really nice acan frag, and a zoa frag that I've never seen before 😄
Great video buddy and a awesome list of sweet corals. I have not tried keeping the Echinata since my first tank but I may have to give them a try again.
I'm just getting into the aquarium hobby and have found these videos extremely helpful, thank you so so much. Also about the hammer coral; would clown fish take interest in it like they would an anemone.
I am new to the reef side of the hobby. So, thanks for the videos! But, I would like to see what the frag pictures you show look like when fully mature side by side. obviously not that frag, but a similar family member would be nice. since I have no clue. thanks again!
How about a video on dropping a Marine Pure block in your sump to possibly lower nitrates. Or making a remote dsb. I'd like to try that as a low flow option in a 20 long serving also as a refugium. Still debating on if that'll just make a mess or not. Lol
Great video! I have been wanting to start a small 5-10 gallon reef tank with just a bunch of colorful varieties of acans. Any recommendations on the ideal setup? Preferably an AIO?
How about a video about the care and feeding of corals what have you learned to be more successful in reef keeping. I just had a flower Pot coral die everything else is doing well.
I would like a video on best filtration systems for beginners. I've been in the hobby for 3 months now and I'm not impressed with the standard filtering system that came with this tank. I want to see if I can change this problem on in my case a bio cube 32
are acan lords smaller than regular acans, not enchnata but the other one that looks the same? My lfs said his were bigger than lords bt look the same, i have a credit at unique and they only have lords so thats why i am asking. actually theres are called lordhowensis micro lords. Is that the same? confusing! I have a huge rainbow thats is one polyp and wont grow but is as round as the frag plug it on! Some reason mine wont keep color either! Not ike when I bought them. What cause color loss? Just not as vibrant. My lfs I got him from uses radions and I have current usa. Does better quality lightening effect color and not just temprily!
On your "Top 10 Mistakes" video you said a tang can't live in a small tank. I was wondering if you could tell me if a 2 to 3 inch yellow tang could fit in a 13.5 gallon tank! Could you reply to me or can you make a video about it. Please and thank you. Love your channel by the way i just subscribed.
NO! No tang should be in any tank less than 4' long, and that's coming from someone with two tangs in a 90, which many people would say is wrong. there is no tang that should ever be in your tank. sorry.
Unfortunately not. If you had a 20 long I would say a 1” yellow tang would be okay for a few months. But definitely no tangs in a 13.5 gallon. I wouldn’t keep any tangs in less than a 3 foot tank personally, and that’s for a young one. I believe that the smallest adult tangs need at least a 5’ long tank and some of the bigger ones need 8 and even 10 foot long tanks.
COOPER'S CICHILDS depends on the coral. You can put a hammer and frogspawn together with no issue. But you can't really get away with a torch near them all though they are all in the same family.
Tired of everyone saying low moderate high lighting. Top Shelf COrals in FLorida use 350 to get this 500 par for high, then moderate is 100 to 150... etc etc... There is TOO much variance here. Please for future videos try to use par. Assuming you have been reefing for awhile you have tested your par and should know some ranges to feed your viewers. Just a heads up
Maybe it's time to cut back on the top 10 vids and show us more of your tank. I'd love to know what you're stock list is and what you're using on your system. Tell us your plans for the future and what you may have done differently looking back
This is so helpful when trying to decide what my next addition should be. Thanks.
I’m building a system with a 120 display 40g sump and a 120 refuge and your one of my inspirations!
Wow never have seen one of these lists without candy cane on there. I liked your selections.
Thank you so much for simplifying things for me. I’ve only been keeping corals for about 5 months. A tank for over a year.
You're welcome, thank you for watching!
Great selection of coral learned a lot.
I'd love to see a video on tank cleaning products. Maybe some products that aren't well known. Thanks again for the awesome vid!
You're very welcome and thanks for the suggestion.
Great video!! Looking at setting up a reef tank for my classroom.
Awesome 😎
just started my tank, this was really helpful! Thanks :)
I just stumbled upon your video and was impressed. I will be subscribing and going back to watch your older videos.
Thanks
Thanks for stoping by and for the sub!
As always another awesome video man keep em coming. This was very informative so thank you from a newbie to the hobby.
Great! thanks for watching!
Very helpful video. Would love to see your top 10 SPS list next.
It's in the works
Awesome and very informational video
Thanks for watching!
Can’t believe torches didn’t make the list. How about a vid on feeding corals?
Awesome vid as usual!! I appreciate you that you included the temperament of many of the corals! Most (if not all) of these corals I plan on having in my Nano reef. So this list certainly helps me know where to place them! I’d like to see some reviews on lights- especially for nano tanks. Thanks for watching Brandon. I still need to settle on lighting for my Nano so I should be able to make that happen.
Good videos as always man.
Thanks for watching!
Love your videos. I have a few of those corals. Just started getting acans. Love how they react when feeding them. I need a bigger tank. Lol
Most LPS corals are very fun to feed.
thanks for the flick, good info as always !!
Good video and good selection of lps. Lps corals are my favorite
They are some great looking corals.
Love the videos man! Can you do a video on the Top 10 fish or cool inverts for nano tanks?
There has been a few request for this video it my need to happen soon... thanks for the suggestion.
Mad Hatter's Reef please do it
Great vid. Would love to see any of these thriving in your tank.
Thanks. Very informative
Another very education vid! Great work.
Thanks Gil!
Great video as always. Would love to see a few reviews on different intank filters and protein skimmers.
Would love to see see a video on clean up crew recommendations.
Topic Eden is a solid product. Did you see the review I did on it?
I always enjoy your videos...pretty...I love the Chalice coral!
They are my fav. my 220 gallon reef tank does well with them too so it looks like I'll be getting more.
Great choices I'll be purchasing a few of these. You should do a video on your choice of products to test your tank water
Test kits would make a great video series.
I just picked up some frags from reef stock in Denver. They had some amazing Coral for really decent prices too! I got a orange leptoseris that is amazing, a really nice acan frag, and a zoa frag that I've never seen before 😄
Great video once again! Maybe a future video can be on different salt mixes and which one you prefer?
Great video buddy and a awesome list of sweet corals. I have not tried keeping the Echinata since my first tank but I may have to give them a try again.
I’ve always had trouble with Acan lords but do just fine with echinata. Thanks for stopping by Scott!
Thanks for the vid. Nice tank.
I love your videos!!! Can you do a video with shrimp? Or cleaning crews?
Would love to see a video about different wave makers from cheap to expensive models keep on reefing
I could make that happen keep an eye out!
Awesome update Jeff.
Thank you!
I had a war coral and it was gorgeous! We almost lost our entire tank recently and so I lost it too. I hope to get another one for my new reef tank.
So i need to ask lol are u hitting ur camera for the intro 😂🤣😂🤣😂 love it, nice work bro always qaulity videos
I'm just getting into the aquarium hobby and have found these videos extremely helpful, thank you so so much. Also about the hammer coral; would clown fish take interest in it like they would an anemone.
I'm really new and plan on setting up a salt water tank I have the tank RODI unit light so I'm getting close thanks for sharing
Sounds like you'll have a reef tank up in no time... Thanks for watching!
I agree with another commenter. I would like to see a top 10 fish for a nano.
Great video Jeff! Acan lords are my favorite.
Thanks for watching!
Great video and aqua forest products will be cool to see a review on them
I haven't taking a look at them yet... I may just have to.
I am new to the reef side of the hobby. So, thanks for the videos! But, I would like to see what the frag pictures you show look like when fully mature side by side. obviously not that frag, but a similar family member would be nice. since I have no clue. thanks again!
I would like to see a review on the different aquarium magnets available and how they compare
I’d love to hear your opinion on purple up, or another way to encourage coralline algae growth?
I could do that... thanks for the suggestion.
How about a video on dropping a Marine Pure block in your sump to possibly lower nitrates. Or making a remote dsb. I'd like to try that as a low flow option in a 20 long serving also as a refugium. Still debating on if that'll just make a mess or not. Lol
Could you do a review on led lighting and what brand you think is best for a coral reef tank
I’d love to see a review on different algae/glass cleaners with a comparison of all the different ones
That would make a good video
Great video! I have been wanting to start a small 5-10 gallon reef tank with just a bunch of colorful varieties of acans. Any recommendations on the ideal setup? Preferably an AIO?
Did you end up doing it?
Jeff, can you do a video and review some affordably priced refugium lighting for growing chaeto that is not in a reactor?
What is this exact Acan Lord at 6:19 ?
What about frogspawn? I guess that'll go with euphilla/hammer ;) great video!!
Love the corals you have here, are they all part of your collection?
How about a video about the care and feeding of corals what have you learned to be more successful in reef keeping. I just had a flower Pot coral die everything else is doing well.
Would like to see reveiws on different reactors. Chaeto, calcium, kalkwasser, any like that.
I lightly punched that Subscribe button in the face 👊🏽
I would like a video on best filtration systems for beginners. I've been in the hobby for 3 months now and I'm not impressed with the standard filtering system that came with this tank. I want to see if I can change this problem on in my case a bio cube 32
I love cyphastrea...so underrated
Could you do a top ten sps coral list
Can you do a video on mixing seahorses with seahorse safe corals?
I’d like to see a review of your nutrient export
Good video
Thank you!
Nice love lps. Grats winners
I would like to see review of icecap 1k gyre. Good vids. Keep it up
This week or next I'll be doing on the premium aquatics channel :)
Grate video again, can you do a video on sps??
Will do...
I would love for you to do a top 10 invert list!!!
I have one right here :0) ua-cam.com/video/xe1RLQsLY_o/v-deo.html
Please do a review on protein skimmers especially nano skimmers for us nano people :)
are acan lords smaller than regular acans, not enchnata but the other one that looks the same? The war coral and the favia you posted are in essence the same coral. They’re both favites
Some videos in regards to the Neptune apex modules
Which ones?
That darth maul favia is a beast!
Hammer is my favorite good list
So LPS can be very finicky as far as tank placement. Especially in a tank like mine that’s only 18” deep.
Yo could alway put the lights higher up on the reef tank.
Can you talk about UV sterilizers?
I would like to see one on carbon/gfo reactors.
I’m like your video bro
I love the acans
Would love to see informative video on ozone!
I'm not a big fan of ozone but I could put the video on the docket
Mad Hatter's Reef even to say why your are not a fan would have value. Thanks!
Review dosing pumps because if you don’t use the Neptune people either say you have to get a ghl or go cheap with a jebao
So you're looking for dosing pumps other than the Neptune systems DOS?
Mad Hatter's Reef yes
Can u place stinging coral together
COOPER'S CICHILDS no, they will kill each other
COOPER'S CICHILDS depends on the coral. You can put a hammer and frogspawn together with no issue. But you can't really get away with a torch near them all though they are all in the same family.
If they are a group of the same type of coral you could but not of different species.
I want you to do a review on cheap but effective products
Polyp lab one please
For sure top ten for nano.
could you have a whole bunch of different zoanthids on one big rock
Yes. many hobbyist have a single rock covered in zoas that doesn't touch anything to keep the zoas incheck
Freshwater tank and saltwater tank I would choose both
Tired of everyone saying low moderate high lighting. Top Shelf COrals in FLorida use 350 to get this 500 par for high, then moderate is 100 to 150... etc etc... There is TOO much variance here.

ph buffer or ph level care
Maybe it's time to cut back on the top 10 vids and show us more of your tank. I'd love to know what you're stock list is and what you're using on your system. Tell us your plans for the future and what you may have done differently looking back
Sps or rodi water
good suggestions
Good value skimmers
Theres a toy called LPS and i thought that was what this was about
Nano tank dosing products!!
That would be a good topic for a video! Thanks
A-B-C-D Trace elements from Red Sea! Please and thank you.
I haven't used red sea much but I can look into it :) thanks for watching!
No torch coral? That’s my favorite
Awesome
Cheap but good quality products
Where is trachy?
That’s a good idea
leptosires are LPS or SPS ?
Nice catch! Unfortunately It's depends on who you're talking to... I've seen it grouped into both categories.
Mad Hatter's Reef fan categories ultra lepto in sps
My LFS and Tidal gardens call it an SPS when WWC and Jason Fox call it an LPS :/
I thought Leptoseris is a SPS.... Clear this up please
