I was at a Full Moon party in Old Manali in '92. When leaving (and about out of screaming range) I was attacked by the Police and had my neck broken + stabbed. Apparently I am very lucky as ALOT of people weren't so lucky (Ian Mogford) I hope all those lost souls have found peace. The place has truly a darkside.

Nothing comes close to a party in Himalayan mountain pay trance party. There is already a crazy ethereal energy in that geographical realm, once you mix psychedelics and pay trance with it, it goes to another level that only people who have experienced it can say anything about.
One day...I mean one day I'll kick the habit and be able raise enough money to get to my beloved India again. Sangla Valley, Parvati Valley, Kullu Valley...That should be enough inspiration but get clean but is is? It's been four years since the last visit and that's a way too long time to be stuck in this cold and dark place. Need more sunshine, need more blue skies, need more smiles around me, need more charas.

I have a colleague who grew up somewhere near this place as his army colonel father was posted there.. poor fellow can only remember his hippy days, he is a pilot now and can't afford to lose his license for some weed.. I too have smoked in past (thanks to this guy only), but believe parties like this will be 10x better than doing it in car, bathroom.
