This looks like a great tool. Im always finding myself with one foot on a log and the saw on the wrong side of my body trying to make a cut. This would make life so much easier. I want to make a similar unit I can bolt onto my tractor.
I don’t know you would probably just have to hold it from swinging back and forth. I think it would work if you do that. I been using it for awhile and its still going which iam suprised.

Definitely. It really does help with the back and helps to not get the chain in the dirt.

@@goose45015 I think it is more stable to cut from the front side...
If you cut from the other side it will tip. You need that base to hold the weight. I hope that helps.
How big of a diameter log will fit?
Zak i had about a eight inch but dont put to much weight cause it will bend if you have a ten foot log

It will do multiple sizes just becareful. The heavier the log it will bend.
