Yes there should definitely be wrinkles in the luff pocket with this concept. Sail would feel way to stiff and wouldn’t breath if we have it tight without wrinkles. When other sails you have in mind don’t have wrinkles they usually have either softer materials or a dacron strip. We could do the same and have it nice optically, but we believe long term performance is better the way we do it :)

Looks good, except the wrinkles in the luff pocket behind the cams? I've seen cleaner.

Yes there should definitely be wrinkles in the luff pocket with this concept. Sail would feel way to stiff and wouldn’t breath if we have it tight without wrinkles.
