UKIT - Wood Carvers of Paete | A story of hope, faith and how we can help the local community

As the Philippines begins easing down on the restrictions amid corona virus cases, the wood carvers, locally called “ukit” in the town of Paete, Laguna find themselves at a crossroads. Over the long weekend, I visited & spoke with three carvers toast them how they are enduring and how we can help them get through this pandemic.
In the video above, we speak with a number of carvers to find out how they are enduring & how we can help them with their livelihood during these trying times.
