Thank you so much for the birthday shout out Eldon! You’re truly so sweet!🫶🏻 I really liked this video a lot.. you really showcased this festival really well (but you always do that in all of your vlogs) and Top Gun is still the best ride IMO at GA… looking forward to the next adventure and excursion
YAY!!! Halloween is here! My favorite time of the year! So cool to see the decorations up already. Haven’t been to Great American in years. Seeing your video brings back memories. Thanks for sharing!
Loved the intro. Great video. It makes me want to get down there!! Happy Birthday to DisneyMom 🎂🎊💜 Glad you finally found your sweatshirt. That’s so cool.
I plan on going this Sunday, I may have not noticed but do the all day dining tickets cover the oktoberfest food? Thank you and thank you for documenting your outting
Yup, after a little practice the night before, happy to smoke the competition. 😎 That stein has some heft to it. Also fun fact: the beer is Athletics Brewing IPA, freaking NON-ALCOHOLIC! BOO! 😅
Just putting it out there, you could use things like the mug that you don’t want to keep as give aways to your followers. Not saying that to say I want it just that I see a lot of other streamers do similar things. Thanks for sharing all the info & updates for both parks!
I used to go to Great America when it was Hanna Barbra with Smurfs and The Flintstones in the 80s then Nickelodeon and Paramount in the 90s. It was so fun as a little kid and teen. Went for the Halloween a few years ago and it was still cute. Did you ever make it to Gyros World of Terror in San Jose in the 1990s-2000s? It reminds me of Hollywood Horror Nights being chased around and was so scary in the maze.
@dringram777 Soooo many good memories. I don't think they're letting this park go. Especially with how much money they're putting into it. Also, a HUGE birthday is coming up for the park!
Great America looks so crappy and low budget now compared to how I perceived it when I was a kid. Same with how I felt about your raging waters video. That was even worse. It’s so sad, in this incredibly expensive high income area, that they can’t put enough money to make our local theme parks really nice.
@WishAtElevenEleven I definitely understand the part where you said it looked so different when you were a kid. I think a lot of imagination goes into play when we are young. Growing up in the parks, you learn over time how cheaply things are, and then once you start buying your own food, you realize how crazy prices in the parks are. The magic in the parks start to really go away. Things were so much better when we're kids. But then again, that's life in general lol
@@Eldons_Excursionsyep, exactly. Also as a kid I perceived great America to be almost on par with Disneyland because I didn’t know any better. All I cared about was the physical excitement of rides. As an adult I appreciate all of the other details that go into an amusement park. I realize now that Disney is a world class theme park and we simply don’t have anything that even comes close to that in the Bay Area.
@WishAtElevenEleven yeah!! Haha omg, I thought the same thing about Marine World! (Discovery kingdom) haha I was like wow!! This place is freaking amazing! Then I went to Disneyland... 🤯
