With this song it feels like Eurovision goes global - we already have African vibes in Feker Libi, now we go for Egyptian style from Azerbaijan. Really like it when people have different sources of inspiration - it makes the Eurovision what it is: a celebration of various cultures united in one flow.
Considering the song, I'm super-excited to see what kind of staging and choreography there is going to be. It really reminds me of this Mummy series of films, so maybe some inspiration can be drawn from there, with this Egyptian queen coming back to life or something like that.
Anyway, the only problem I can see here is that I can't listen to this song without watching the video, so the visuals are definitely stealing the show. Apart from that, I can't feel that I want to listen to it again, especially because, I agree with Stefan, it goes a bit aggressive with the way it is done.
So finally my rating will be 7 - I feel great potential here, I extremely want to see the live performance (maybe more than any other song), but the song itself leaves me with the weird feeling I can not identify yet. I absolutely love the concept of the song and the stylistics of the video, but I don't feel like listening to the song without the video.
Anyway, I would like to thank Azerbaijan for bringing new colours to Eurovision. You've done great job!
