I went to the mall yesterday to buy some new clothes. From some of those clothing stores. It was gonna be at least 500 dollars for an outfit. Im talking about ONE outfit. Shirt. pants. socks. Belt. jacket. shoes. HALF A THOSAND DOLLARS. FOR ONE OUTFIT.. I almost vomitted. Then I left the mall and went to ROSS where things are affordable but rare to find in your size. lol
Sized for the modern slop eating proletariat. XXL. Lol. Can't afford food? Well now you can't afford clothing sized for those who can afford to eat right.
Gen X handed you the most powerful tool in all human history - the Internet and instead of building a brave new world, you allowed yourselves to be crushed by the system. The middle-class is going away and the Great Sorting is happening right now.
2006 I was 30 working for Disney at one of their resorts for 8.50 per hour. I saw people in their 60's working the same jobs or lower. Ain't life and capitalism grand?
@desirabbit6869 They have built very expensive homes near the parks but not really for sale as such. You somewhat own it but can never change anything and are not able to sell them unless they approve it somehow.

I’m back to looking for a new job, had an offer letter and then the company retracted it due to (hiring freezes) likely because of inticipating Trumps tarrifs.
if we were working together, but I keep all the spoils, of course I'll think that's a great system 😀 bad analogy, if everyone worked for my and I never had to look at the poors
LMFAO you can do something better with your money, buy coke. I literally almost spit out the latte I have been drinking the past nearly 4 hours. I get my eggs from my friend who has chickens. Granted I do not eat like a normal person largely in part due to my health issues ( I have a lot of GI issues) so a dozen eggs could last me 1-2 weeks on average in some cases longer than that. As far as milk goes I cannot do it, I am lactose intolerant. So, I have been paying more for lactose free or almond milk or oat milk for years now.
We’re as mad as hell and we’re not going to take this anymore.

I've been watching their plan to build affordable housing for their workers for years, but somehow it never materializes.
