I first heard this song as the end credits of the English dub of Sailor Moon; then much later I heard of Frank Sinatra. But to me it just sounds so good with a female vocalist!

adele just keeps improving. I haven't listened for a while to her but here there is a lovely sense of warmth and intimacy and that expressive face, wow, she drives me wild. There's a particular scene in the helen reddy saga where the actor playing helen portrays this same subtle 1940s look, the face, the looks, the innuendo and the goddam sexiness ! I always enjoy adele's performances 😍

Robyn's audio is clipping (or else the sound engineer has added some distortion). Either way, her unprocessed voice would sound much better.
Yeah, this is a pet peeve of mine aswell. It makes the music sound less natural as a result.
Robyn records this live from her living room using one take. Her older videos were recorded in a studio so the quality is not the same. Technical problems happen and I'm glad to see the video regardless if the audio is not perfect.
