7.04 "Letting the drummer singing?" - Yeah, Petter Karlsson is also a descent singer and Snowy is also a descent drummer.
Plus nothing weird about singing drummers, if The Eagles and Genesis could do it why not Therion?
I love that concert and that version over the Mannowar originsl version. That live show is their best one and yeah, that's the Therion before the Beloved Antichrist shit...
Snowy was always amazing live. had the luck to hear this song live, it is a rare one to appear on lineups, this cover was originally recorded in Crowning of Atlantis(1999) with the voice of Ralf Scheepers from Primal Fear. And I am sorry for the one making you go through beloved antichrist and Fleurs du mal. It seems like someone wanted you to hear their worst ahah
The era of Sitra-Ahra(2010), Fleurs du mal(2012) and Beloved Antichrist(2018) is acknowledged by Therion fans as their worst, failing to represent Therion at all.
And to understand why these three albums were so poor it suffices to know that Live Gothic(2008) was the tour for Gothic Kaballah(2007), after this tour ended, from the lineup you see in this video only 4 remained: Cristofer, Snowy, Katrina (that would leave as well in 2010), and lori. The Niemann brothers(guitar and bass) as well as the drummer and Mats Leven all left the lineup. The Leviathan albums already bring some of the old Therion back but is still a gamble compared to anything from the era between Theli(1996) and Gothic Kaballah(2007).
About time someone new reacted to Therion.

@@ptbempire I don't even know, as a Therion fan, how you manage to hear that album ahah. It is for most of Therion fans with Sitra Ahra and Fleurs du mal(where "Poupée de cire" is from) one of the three worst albums of Therion all released in succession, one after another. I left another comment why these three are so different from any of the other albums including the one this cover of Thor is from.
And If one considers that Sitra Ahra had at least a couple of good songs with the old Therion feel in it, and Fleurs du mal was just a collection of covers from french culture songs, the Beloved Antichrist appears as the most bland, uninspired and boring of the three, at least for me.
@@ptbempirewhoever told you to react to that is beyond words. Their worst. Every band goes downhill after nearly 40 years of playing. Their older stuff is golden especially THIS concert. For the love of god react to some more from this concert. I recommend the song Deggial from this concert. You will have a new subscriber
