Not only are they making a MM game, they already have a sequel (obviously) set up and an animated series, I think similar to Captain Underpants with the movie and show This movie had only a $70 million budget unlike every other popular franchise movie but still consists of a good rating The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are actually Teenage Turtles! The 4 turtles actually all recorded in the same room because Seth Rogen wanted to build a relationship between them all so the chemistry is better (not sure if this was exactly what he said but it’s what I remember)
I'd love to see you guys react to the 2012 TMNT. It's really good and incorporates all previous versions of the turtles while doing their own thing. Like Avatar, there are moments you will say "This isn't a kids show"
You gotta watch Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul if Moff Gideon is where you know Giancarlo Esposito from. Those shows really let him show off his (phenomonal) acting skills.
Some people seemed to hate that Scumbug for being all gross but love is love so I'm happy for Splinter! It's what's on the inside that counts after all!🥰
This version plays ino the teenage part of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles more than any other incarnation, which just had snappy (for the times) one-liners.
I watched the movie last night and it was incredible. The characters and the design were great, awesome songs, and crazy actions. Turtle Power! 🐢🐢🐢🔥🔥🔥🤩🤩🤩
I've seen some random episodes of the '87 show. Watched '03 until it got really long hiatus in my home country but in 2015 my friend told me to watch '12 show and I got hooked REALLY hard!! Now I've been trying to look trough every version of TMNT and so far I've been enjoying everything a lot
As a 15-year-old who grew up with The Turtles (and as an anime-loving teen), this movie was very nostalgic and amazing for me. I also grew up with 80's-200's music, so the "No Diggity", "What's Up?", "Ante Up" song got me bopping and singing along. I watched the 80's TMNT show when I was 4-years-old, all 3 of the 90's movies when I was 5-years-old, watched The Next Mutation also when I was 5-years-old, and watched TMNT 2012 out of order when I was 7-years-old. I revisited the franchise and rewatched all of the films and shows at this age. I understood all the TMNT references that they made in the movie (the Laird and Eastman High, which referenced the 2 co-creators of the comics, which I read most of, the picture of a Triceraton on the side of a truck in Splinter's flashback, all of the Turtles wearing the 80's belts in this movie, when Mikey broke into a car in the first fight scene and the radio played "Ninja Rap", which is a song performed by Vanilla Ice in the 90's TMNT: Secret Of The Ooze movie, when Donnie was driving Splinter and his brothers in the Turtle Van during the Supa Dupa Fly fight scene), the anime references (Donnie wearing a Jojo hoodie, Attack On Titan references, a sticker of Deku from My Hero Academia on the bulletin board next to the Improv/Comedy tryouts paper Mikey was signing), and the pop culture/ teen humor. I loved that they included words like "Rizz" and "Sus" which are words teens and kids my age use/used in 2020-2023. "Sus" is short for "suspicious", which became popular when Among Us came out (EX: "When the Impostor is sus"), and "Rizz" which became a word I think in early 2020 and is still popular (but not that much) today. As a teen, I use both words and loved that pop culture reference. I understood and picked up on ALL the references (I think), and got hyped up when I saw that they included Leatherhead, Wingnut, and Mondo Gecko for the first time in TMNT films. I also liked how they saved Shredder for the sequel. I think it would be a bad idea if they introduced him now, because the Turtles aren't really good at fighting yet, and they'd only end up being killed by Shredder. When I saw Bebop and Rocksteady, I got hyped up too. I love this movie so much that I watched it *5 times* in theaters. 11/10. _EDIT:_ I also like how the producers hired ACTUAL teenagers (teens as old as me or older) to voice the Turtles. It's the first time I've ever heard ANY of the Turtles with an actual teen's voice.
This movie perfectly captured the feeling of being a kid and the fun of it. I don’t think I laughed at anything more than this movie. The needledrops were perfect, and everyone is flexing that Spiderverse tech… amazing movie.

This is a fun movie but as a fan of the Eastman and Laird comics it’s too far removed from the source material for me to enjoy it in the same way, that said I realise I’m not the target demographic and I appreciate the references they put in for older viewers
@@itsjustvin7630 hate no, who said anything about hate? I was a kid when the cartoon came out and enjoyed it as I had no frame of reference for the concept, I enjoyed the 1990’s movie but could tell it was different from that show. Do I enjoy the show now? Sure for nostalgia but not for content, the 2004 show was closer to the source material than the 80’s show which understandably had to make many changes due to the demographic it was targeting as well as tv standards for cartoons at the time so arguably it would be viewed as the better show. Hell this is even acknowledged by the 2004 series through the Turtles Forever movie which showed how different each incarnation was from the original comics. Also I didn’t even say I hated this movie I said it was fun just too fair removed from the source material. If you disagree that’s cool everyone entitled to an opinion

I thought superfly was made for this movie until someone at work was playing it and I was like Ay teenage mutant ninja turtles! And he looked at me so confused. 😂
