Look at Andrew "Stumpy" Raynes, at 5'3 and 275lbs, he qualified for the WSM Finals in 2001. He came last because he was obviously at a serious disadvantage in some events but he got to the finals which is insane in itself. Shorter men are often better at power lifting than tall men so you could potentially train that and laugh at your taller friends.
@@robjef622 Yep. As is often the case, his height and weight change by a couple of inches / lbs respectively depending on where you look but he's very small, very heavy and very strong. Maybe a bit of a genetic anomaly but should give some motivation to smaller men who worry about this sort of stuff.
I feel like an angry Luke Stoltman would destroy the planet in terms of strong man. It's just that getting him and Tom angry is difficult because there's such lovely spirited people. I remember in the world's ultimate strongman when him and Tom got second and third he was a little annoyed because people were leaving him out of their predictions. We saw what happened there.

Bloody good stuff!! That yoke looks damn epic in use! If Toms buzz words in his head are working, he's gonna take off when Luke starts screaming them at him. There's a term for that in the forces.... the grey man, be the grey man. Let the pretenders prance and preen waste their energy lol. For some reason I was thinking the other day it must be damn tough in that your strenght compared to normies is mind blowing. Folk like me in the comment section amazed at the 190kg log press for example, then to turn up to a competition surrounded by your peers where it's literal cm's that seperate you all. You all normalise each other, you not a big shot so to speak, so that needs to go and be replaced with the controlled agression. Anyway great video enjoyed watching it.

Luke said that he would get some gloves, you may need a few pair just in case. I think you owe Adam Bishop some gloves ; ) Your training looks good, I wish you both the best of luck in achieving your goals.
