Dear Fellow GH Fans: We, with all due respect, have to disagree with some of the expression presented by some a couple of months ago regarding Jason's and Elizabeth so called "relationship". The following is a series of facts that relates to them: 1. The started a friendship back in the late '90s. 2. In 2002 when Jason shut down on Elizabeth, she slept with Zander. Interesting enough Jason saw them together. Elizabeth told Jason that it happened because he pushed her away and because she was scared. Although, she admitted to Jason that she lead Zander on. 3. In 2003, Courtney asked Jason after she and Elizabeth got into a fight if he ever was in love with Elizabeth and Jason answered, NO. However, Jason's marriage with Courtney although they were very much in love didn't work out because she couldn't handle his life style and she tried to change him. It is important to remember that all of those events happened before Sam was even in the picture. 4. Elizabeth married Ric. Later on, she slept with Zander and she became pregnant with Cam. Jason didn't care she was with Ric. 5. Back in 2004, Elizabeth told Sam when they were both at Kelly's and Sam was pregnant that she couldn't stand the violent world in which Jason lives in. 6. In 2008, Jason told Elizabeth that he can't give her what she needs because she is against everything he stands for. In other words, she doesn't accept him for who he is and what he does and he is never going to change. This is the same argument they had back in 2002 way before Sam. 7. If is true that Jason was in love with Elizabeth and they had a history together. Why he never acted on it? He had plenty of opportunities to be with Elizabeth before Sam was ever even a factor. But, Jason chose not to be with Elizabeth. Instead, Jason chose to be with Courtney. Afterwards, Sam came to be a factor. He fell in love with her and he found in Sam his true match. Those are facts that can be sustained by the evidence shown throughout every single storyline that Jason and Sam have been part of since they fell in love. Jason found in Sam someone who loved him for who he is, what he does and she doesn't judge him. Jason found in Sam understanding and unconditional love. Jason found in Sam a true partner, somebody he could truly trust and confide in. The truth of the matter is that once Jason found Sam he was never going to let go of her. Let's be real for a minute, how many of us if we find that kind of love in our lives are willing to give up or truly walk away from that. Not many... Finally, to argue that Jason and Elizabeth are soulmates or each other true love is really something that is not sustainable. First, because in 2002 Jason had denied as much. Second, the closest thing to love that came for Jason and Elizabeth was the so called on and off "relationship" they had that it was more about Jake and Jason's need to be a father than anything else. For, we grant that Jason may have loved Elizabeth at some point in 2008. However, it's important to take into account that at that time Jason was so eager to be a father to his son that he, most likely, projected the overwhelming feelings he had for his son onto Elizabeth. The sad parte about this is that Elizabeth knew it because after Michael's shooting she asked Jason if what he felt for her was about Jake or her. Jason told her that it was not fair of her to ask that question. We asked ourselves why not? Because when Sam showed up with baby Hope in 2004, Jason told Sam that he wanted her with or without the baby. So, we know that until 2008, Jason was a straight forward guy but once he became father, those feelings truly overwhelmed him up to the point that his logical thinking and reasoning went out the window. In 2008, Jason was so lost in his need to be a father to his son that if you go back and watch that entire storyline everyone, most likely, would agree that Jason was not acting like his usual self. He was constantly out of focus and he was not paying attention to the business. He was compromising himself over and over by living a constant lie which alienated Jason from the people he usually confided in and trusted. The people that loved him called him on it a couple of times but instead of acknowledging what they were saying, he chose to ignore them. All of that came at a very high cost because Michael got shot. Afterwards, Jason started to think about what he has been doing and how wrong he was for ignoring his instincts and his responsibilities. That's why he told Elizabeth they would never work out. Here we have it, Jason telling Elizabeth for the second time that things between them are never going to work. So, to summarize, Jason had said to Elizabeth in 2002, 2008 and then in 2012 when she tried to forced a divorce between Sam and Jason, that he is not what Elizabeth needs and that he can't never give her what she wants. When a man is deeply madly in love with a woman reason goes out the window just like it happened when Jason decided to go against Sonny to marry Courtney. Later on when Jason fell in love with Sam he did everything to be with Sam. They even moved passed the one night stand they both had with different people. Even though, one of those people was Ric, Jason is no one to forgive and he did it for Sam. He even told her that he didn't want to loose the years they have spent together they came out stronger. If anyone follow up on the storyline they would come to realize that is not until Elizabeth told Jason the truth about Jake, asked him to lie and he decided to lie to Sam that things started to go south for Jason and Sam. Carly told Elizabeth the truth when she found out about Jake's paternity in 2008, she said to Elizabeth that Jason and Sam were happy until she came along with her lies. Jason and Sam had overcome a lot but once the web of lies started they began to drift apart. Those are the facts. We invite everyone to go back and watch the episodes objectively because we have done it a couple of times and we stand firmed in what we have, respectfully, expressed. We hope this helps clarify any doubts. Our research certainly helped us. Blessed be!
angela morales Jason didn’t care that Elizabeth was with lucky; he didn’t fight to be with her after the Russians, and yes he does care for her, but if he didn’t like the fact that Elizabeth was with lucky, he would have said so to her. Dear Fellow GH Fans: We, with all due respect, have to disagree with some of the expression presented by some regarding Jason's and Elizabeth so called "relationship". The following is a series of facts that relates to them: 1. The started a friendship back in the late '90s and the beginning of 2000's 2. In 2002 when Jason shut down on Elizabeth, she has her 1st one night stand with Zander. Interesting enough Jason saw them together. Elizabeth told Jason that it happened because he had pushed her away and because she was scared. Although, she admitted to Jason that she led Zander on. By the way, Jason saw them together in her art studio. Later on, Elizabeth broke things up with Jason because he lied to her about Sonny being alive. She couldn't accept the fact that there certain things that Jason could never tell her because of his job. Jason also took the opportunity to tell her that he could never give her what she wanted or what she needed. If Jason and Elizabeth were each other's true love how come he married Courtney and told Courtney he was never in love with Elizabeth? As much as people may want to storyline can't be rewritten. 4. Elizabeth married Ric. Later on, she cheated on Ric and slept with Zander. This was the 2nd one night stand she had with Zander which left her pregnant with Cameron. To our point, at the time Jason didn't care she was with Ric. Furthermore, this showed that indeed Elizabeth is a cheater. Also, this demonstrates that there is a pattern of behavior with her. 5. Back in 2004, Elizabeth told Sam when they were both at Kelly's and Sam was pregnant that she couldn't stand the violent world in which Jason lives in. Furthermore, she went on to say that Jason was a killer and that she couldn't have her little boy exposed to that kind of life. 6. In 2008, Jason told Elizabeth that he can't give her what she needs because she doesn't accept him for who he is and what he does. Jason is never going to change. This is the same argument they had back in 2002 way before Sam. 7. If it was true that Jason was in love with Elizabeth and they had a history together. Why he never acted on it? He had plenty of opportunities to be with Elizabeth before Sam was ever even a factor. But, Jason chose not to be with Elizabeth. Instead, Jason chose to be with Courtney. Afterwards, Sam became a factor in Jason's life. He fell in love with her and he found in Sam his true match because she loved and accepted him unconditionally. 8. It is an undeniable fact that Jason has been that same person since his accident in 1996. He is a danger junkie. He likes to push the envelope and likes to live in the moment. He likes working for Sonny. Sonny, Carly, Michael & Morgan are his family. He is loyal to them to a fault. He made commitments and promises to them, especially to Michael. They are his responsibility. Robin understood that. Courtney understood that. Sam understood that. But Elizabeth never understood that actually when she had the chance to show understanding she walked away. That is a fact. It is also a fact that Jason has been consistently the same person, a Mob Enforcer, for more than a decade. That is who he is and what he does. It also a fact that Robin, Courtney and Elizabeth couldn't accept him for who he is and what he does. Each one of them tried different things to change him or to get him out of the business. Robin tried to get him fired and when nothing worked she told the truth about Michael's paternity. But it didn't work Jason broke up with Robin and she moved to Paris. Courtney tried to accept him at first but along the way she realized that she was compromising too much of herself to be with Jason so even though they loved each other that wasn't enough and she ended up divorcing him. Let's remember that in both previous cases that we mentioned before regarding Robin and Courtney, Jason was madly and passionately in love with each one of them when he was with together with each one of them. In Elizabeth's case was different because Jason was never in love with her but he care enough to try to date her. The truth is that Elizabeth tried to fit in and to understand Jason's lifestyle but the moment she found out that Jason lied to her because of his job she walked away. So, for anyone to dispute these facts it would be like trying to rewrite GH history. Another fact, it's that all of the aforementioned happened before Sam was even in the picture. The unchangeable fact remained that Sam accepted Jason for who he was or didn't what he did because she has never been a judgmental person. Like everybody else seems to be in Port Charles. 9. Finally, we can't forget that Elizabeth's true love is Lucky. She had said as much since the '90s and during the entire storyline between 2009-2011 until Lucky left Port Charles. We can't forget that she married Lucky twice and that he was his first love. Lucky was the person that helped her through the most horrifying experience of her life. She wanted Lucky not anyone else to be the father of her kids. Not even Jason. That is a real connection. For, it is our humble opinion that what she had always felt for Jason was an infatuation. That is why it comes and goes depending on the circumstances. Interesting fact, Lucky left Port Charles in 2011 and Elizabeth, once again, became infatuated with Jason in 2012. It is like a vicious cycle. The same thing happened back in the 2000's when Elizabeth thought that Lucky was dead. She leaned on Jason but when Lucky came back she went back to Lucky. Those are the facts that can be sustained by the evidence shown throughout every single storyline that Robin, Elizabeth, Lucky, Courtney, Jason and Sam have been part of. Our humble suggestion is for everyone to stop trying to rewrite the storylines because they are what they are and nobody can't change that.
Yanira Martinez yes you are absolutely correct in all of your comments here regarding the relationship with Jason and Elizabeth. I don’t know when you stop watching or if you are still watching, but it always seems that when Elizabeth knows that Jason or lucky because she did this with lucky when he was married to Siobhan, she decided she wants them back. Remember back in 2012, even though she couldn’t handle Jason’s life desperate for them to have their time, she lied telling Jason that Sam was dating John which was not the case and created an elaborate birthday party celebration for two. Also, Jason told her that they could not be together and even though he was getting a divorce, they were not free to be together and they could never be together. Elizabeth knowing that Sam and Jason were growing closer and knowing that Sam’s baby would undoubtedly bring them back together when he found the baby, she switched the test and she even made sure that Sam overheard her talking to Lulu letting her know that Jason kissed her. Elizabeth has this pattern of when things are bad or when things are going good for a while and she gets scared, she self sabotages and messes the relationship up more. And things are falling apart, she seems to turn to Jason and then desperate for her time with him, she schemes to try to get with him. I do think that Elizabeth has always had stronger feelings for Jason than he does for her, and I think most of that time they were together and 07/08 was because of Jake. I honestly believe that had Jake not have been conceived, they would have had the one night and that was it. I don’t think they would have gotten together. I think Jason would have still been with Sam. Any of Elizabeth‘s issue with Jason was because of the mob and they should have ended in 2002. I do believe that they love each other but it’s not the romantic love that she has for lucky and he has for Sam. And if they were truly meant to be together, you’re right. He would not have married Courtney and she would not have married Rick. She even tried to get with Rick at first to see if it would make Jason jealous which of course, it didn’t. Even Robin know that she couldn’t handle Jason’s mom connection and lifestyle, but the difference is, she didn’t try to act like she could or anything once they broke up for good after the AJ mess. She remained a loyal friend to Jason and even said at his wedding to Sam, that she always knew he would find the perfect one for him. Elizabeth tried to mold Jason into someone he wasn’t and that I wish could have been addressed. She also knows how loyal Jason is and played on those fears of his life being too dangerous. And if they were truly meant to be together and 08, the Russians could not have wavered in their relationship. Jake would have been found safe and sound, and they would have been a family. Despite Jason’s misgivings, Elizabeth would have fought for the relationship as Sam had done despite his telling her that he broke up with her because he could not handle her getting hurt again after she got shot. She didn’t though, and I believe even agreed with the decision to break it off.

Cont. 2. Notwithstanding that, there is an undeniable fact, which is that Jason found in Sam someone who loved him for who he is, what he does and she never judge him. Jason found in Sam understanding, unconditional love and acceptance. Jason found in Sam a true partner, somebody he could truly trust and confide in. The truth of the matter is that once Jason found Sam he was never going to let go of her because what Jason found with Sam he never had that with anybody else in his life. This is evident because during the entire 2008 storylines Jason wasn't able to truly move on from Sam. Every single time Sam needed assistance, aid or to be rescue Jason decided to play heroe to Sam. Nevermind, the fact that she had a very capable boyfriend who could have stepped in to help or rescue Sam at any given moment which was Lucky. Jason could have called Lucky to let him handle the situation or called him for back up but Jason chose not to call him. Plain and simple, Jason wanted to be there for Sam. The connection Jason felt for Sam was too strong for him to ignore it. Besides there is the fact that he never was going to turn his back on Sam no matter what had transpired between them. On the other hand, Jason during the entire 2008 storylines looked conflicted when he was with Elizabeth. We believe it was because ultimately Jason came to the realization that Elizabeth had never accepted him for who he was and what he did. Also, Jason realized that Elizabeth has never accepted his lifestyle and the choices that came with it. For, during that entire storyline we saw a very unhappy Jason because he couldn't be truly happy with Elizabeth. He cared and loved her. After all, Elizabeth was the mother of his child but it wasn't like he was in love with her. Even Elizabeth acknowledged that she had loved Jason longer than he had loved her. Jason tired but couldn't make it work with Elizabeth for all the reasons stated above. Finally, there is the fact that Jason couldn't truly move on from Sam. He couldn't just let go of his deep connection and feelings for her. Let's be real for a minute, if we find in our lives the kind of unconditional love and acceptance that Sam gave Jason, how many of us are willing to really give it up or truly walk away from it. We say without a shadow of a doubt not many... Finally, to argue that Jason and Elizabeth are soulmates or each others true love is really something that is not sustainable and there is no evidence to support such statement. First, because in 2002 Jason had denied as much. Second, the closest thing to love that came for Jason and Elizabeth was the so called on and off "relationship" they had in 2008 which by the way was a mutual infatuation they both had for each other (Please referred to Definition of Infatuation below). However, in Jason's case it was based on his overwhelming need to be a father to Jake than anything else. What we need to remember is that quite often infatuations take a life on their own and the people involved get stuck on stupid because they confuse the feelings with love. In the process, the people infatuated with each other forget the essence of who they are and usually constantly compromised themselves just to seek satisfaction. Until something terrible happens that snaps them back to reality. The sad part about this is that Elizabeth knew exactly what was going on with Jason in regards to his feelings because after Michael's shooting she asked Jason if what he felt for her was about Jake or her (08/29 & 09/02/08). Jason told her that it was not fair of her to ask that question and he was evasive with the answer. Interesting fact is that when he was in love with Robin, Courtney or Sam he was never evasive when it came to answer such a simple question. Also, in 2004 when Jason wanted Sam back he expressly told her that he wanted her, baby or no baby. That was when Sam appeared with Baby Hope in her arms. He had no problem giving a straight answer in any of those situations. Again, we can't rewrite the storylines or what was said by the characters. We know that until the middle of 2007, Jason was a straight forward guy. He never lied and never accepted betrayal from anyone. However, all that changed once he became a father, those feelings truly overwhelmed him up to the point that his logical thinking and reasoning went out the window. Afterwards, he became a lier, a cheater and a betrayer. He didn't do all those things only to Sam he also did them to Lucky. Simply put, since Jake's birth Jason had been living in a web of lies which totally uncharacteristic for him. In 2008, Jason was so lost in his need to be a father to his son that if you go back and watch that entire year everyone, most likely, would agree that Jason was not acting like his usual self. He was constantly out of focus and he was not paying attention to the business. He was compromising himself over and over by living a constant lie which alienated Jason from the people he usually confided in and he trusted the most. The people that loved him called him on it a couple of times but instead of acknowledging what they were saying, he chose to ignore them. All of that came at a very high cost. Let's see, partially because of Jason's actions Michael got shot. Later on, Jason started to think about what he had done, the choices he made and how wrong he was for ignoring his instincts, his commitments and his responsibilities. That's why he told Elizabeth, again, they would never work. This is the second time that Jason had told Elizabeth that things between them would never work out because he can't give her what she wants or what she needs and he can't be himself with her. To summarize, Jason had said to Elizabeth in 2002, 2008 and then in 2012 when she tried to forced a divorce between Sam and Jason once again by lying and manipulating which is Elizabeth's specialty, that he is not what she needs and that he can't never give her what she wants. It is important to understand that when a man is deeply madly in love with a woman reason goes out the window just like it happened when Jason decided to go against Sonny to marry Courtney. Those are the facts. We invite everyone to go back and watch the episodes objectively because we have done it a couple of times and we stand firmed in what we have, respectfully, expressed. We hope this helps clarify any doubts. Our research certainly had helped us. Blessed be! #### DEFINITIONS: INFATUATION: An intense but short lived passion or admiration for someone or something. It is based on what you want the person to be NOT on who the person really is. While being in love is about you accepting the person exactly for who they really are instead of who you wanted them to be. It's about accepting the good, the bad and the in between.
Yanira Martinez i’ve never actually looked up the definition of infatuation or love, so thank you for putting that here. The infatuation describes the relationship with Jason and Elizabeth perfectly. I never could get behind Jason and Elizabeth being soulmates simply because it always seemed that their relationship was shaky at best. Every time she was trying to be with Jason, there was always someone else. Lucky, or Xander, and Sam. Even at the most painful times and Jason‘s life, Elizabeth was never by his side through that grief; it was Sam. I’ve never seen it show where Elizabeth and Jason had overcame all of these obstacles to be together and shows that their love had one out. We’ve seen it with Lucky and Elizabeth because they got through her rape and that’s how they fell in love, Luckys dying in the fire in brainwashing, Sarah, drug addiction and cheating, and everything that happened as a result of that with Sam. The biotoxin story was another one that they got through together. Not Elizabeth and Jason, Elizabeth and lucky. I think the riders on some level like to tease that they will work, but they even know that they won’t because they are two very different individuals and Elizabeth could never get behind the violence and Jason‘s life. This was way before kids, and those children only enhanced those fears for Elizabeth. Sam and Jason have gone through more obstacles than one kid name at this point and showed every time that they can get past anything together. That is soulmates. A soulmate is not someone who will try to mold you into someone you are not; they will love and except you for who you are right or wrong, flaws and all.

Jason showed that he cared for Elizabeth during their so called "relationship" but not at the same level that he would always loved Sam. When Sam was in similar health situations as Elizabeth was during the hospital crisis Jason would have never left her side and he would have done exactly what Lucky was doing for Elizabeth. Through the entire crisis he was concerned about everyone including Elizabeth and his mother which by the way he went to visit and he talked to her. However, Jason made it very clear to Patrick that he was not going to leave without Sam and Spinelli and that has always being the case with him. Jason feels drawn to Sam. It's something that is part of him. He had never loved anyone as much as he had loved Sam and he never will love anyone as much as Sam. Elizabeth always knew that and so did Lucky. It's just like Lulu said Sam and Jason are danger junkies that is part of their connection and so it's the fact that they have always accepted one another exactly for who they are and they can be true to themselves when they are with each other. They don't have to hide any part of who they are. So, when they are together they can be free to be themselves. That is an extremely deep connection that simply doesn't go away. If anyone look at the facts of their story they would see exactly what we are talking about. Blessed be!

Dear Fellow GH Fans:
We, with all due respect, have to disagree with some of the expression presented by some a couple of months ago regarding Jason's and Elizabeth so called "relationship". The following is a series of facts that relates to them:

He never prevented them from getting back together, and he never would. Elizabeth was happy, he was happy for her.
Dear Fellow GH Fans:
We, with all due respect, have to disagree with some of the expression presented by some regarding Jason's and Elizabeth so called "relationship". The following is a series of facts that relates to them:
1. The started a friendship back in the late '90s and the beginning of 2000's
Afterwards, Sam became
a factor in Jason's life.

Blessed be!

DEFINITIONS:
INFATUATION: An intense but short lived passion or admiration for someone or something.

GH obsession fur sure!
i completely agree with you. lucky and liz have a magical connection between them. liason was awful. jasam and ll2 are endgame.
why is that a bad comment i just asked what was wrong
