I did everything right. I graduated high school, college started a very successful photography career and out of nowhere a healthy 26 year old got kidney failure without having no diabetes, no high blood pressure, no auto immune disease and had to get on dialysis for 8 years. I watched my business crumble. I am now healed by Gods grace but have to start all over and I'm struggling in motivation big time.
Hey @god563616, what a journey!! I can only imagine what you had to go through. But as you said - you are here by Gods grace. So, don’t think of it as starting over - Think of it as beginning something new. Take the opportunity to release the negative connections to the past and use the strength, faith and determination that got you through the last 8 years to create a whole new identity. I’m sure you probably didn’t even know you had that strength inside of you before your diagnosis. And now you are here. Alive, blessed and highly favoured. Use that to your advantage and just do one thing each day to reinforce what a bad ass you are. You are here today for a reason. It’s time to get excited about what God has planned for you. X ❤️
