My father passed away on may 5th after beating cancer twice, the third fight was just too painful. He was not a big fan of of my 12 year (and counting) graffiti habit, but that's because it ruined my youth (expelled, arrested, juvi, jail later. It cost him money when I was still an overly courageous kid). He fucking dug the art though, he would travel and take pictures of local graff zones for me. I have one framed up of an Incredible Hulk mural done by the TF Boys in Turkey.
I know that another viewer recently lost their father, Joe. It broke my heart because my dad was still up workin on his 60's VW buses, going to chemo, enjoying growing flowers and herbs. My dad's name was also Joe.
His nickname when he was younger was JoeCool. I've been writing it. Green Ranger, if you get to and through my comment, thank you for reading it and thank you for the videos. You're a cool, inspirational fella and the world is lucky to have you.
Gotta ask, yo, can you hit up a JoeCool for my dad? Haha.

I just got my 2 in yesterday. Its a little chilly here in Chi, but these things are like BUTTER, even in the cold!! Im really happy w/ Sakuras, Sanfords are horrible.. These are amazing, great job GR and Art Primo!!! Awae Chi City

Where do you get them? AP doesn't carry markal at all. I got a few markal yellows on Amazon.

I've been using a split red and silver streaker for awhile now, and man that shit is buttery. The silver streaks consistency is even better than sakura and magic solid markers in my opinion. I love your original AP products.
Really? I haven't tried silver with any streakers, but Sakura always beats AP with every other color, plus I've seen my homies' tags with AP silver and it just looks grey.
Every AP streaker I've used has had mad clumps of paint that just ball up on the stick and on my writing. I'm Sakura all the way. It's worth the extra $1.50.

@@stover14 they work best in cold weather/climate. Def worse in summer heat. I just love sakuras. They're so easy to split colors too, I think the APs are a bit larger and longer and might be more difficult, tho I've never tried. GR has a color splitting tutorial, but I think the method he uses is sloppy/difficult. I just chop em down the middle with a cheap chef's knife in one motion, he slides a razor down the length, which I think could lead to inconsistent cuts.
I love GR, I just wish he would say when something's bad or not worth the money, time, or effort. Dude is so pumped, he never has a bad word to say. Great energy, not always the best tutorials. Clearly a solid dude regardless.
@abraxasjinx5207 Yeah Im in a pretty cold part of the world so they go hard but streakers are pretty much unavailable here unless you import em so you probably got more experience than me with em
GR is a real one, old school head putting wisdom out for us younger cats. He does better than pretty much every other online graff store owner who don't even know the what the products they're selling are tbh
Could I use these on canvas panels/stretched canvas? Would they be okay to use alongside acrylic paint markers on same canvas?

I have the old silver markals but the "skin around them just makes the markers shot unless you really precisely peal the "skin" off. Bu great marker GR it writes nice and crisp

Silver split ideas: Silver/limegreen (money) , silver/ white(pearl handle) , silver/ yellow maybe. Its all about subtle color changes for streaks imo. but being metallic is throwing me off.. i like 3 color streaks but MY problem with them is the crayon look. Gotta go for smooth serfaces. Would be interesting to see how these hold up in the elements. Man big props to art primo tho. First ever silver streaks (i know u had the hobo a long time ago, but still) historic.
